Description
Been using the run.events app for a couple months now. It’s basically an event companion app – you can use it whether you’re an attendee, sponsor, exhibitor, or the event organizer. The app takes on the branding of the specific event you’re going to, which is a nice touch.
Here’s what you can do with it: browse the event agenda, mark your favorite sessions, check out speaker profiles, and even participate in session chats. And there’s also the option to add your event tickets to your Google Wallet, which makes the check-in process super easy. It’s got a pretty clean and intuitive interface overall.
Look, if you’re into events and conferences, you’ll probably find run.events pretty useful. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but it does the job of keeping you connected and informed during the event. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on run.events. I've tested a bunch of event apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The ability to brand it for each specific event is a nice touch, and I like how it keeps you plugged into everything that's going on. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. That said, the free version does have some annoying ads, and I found the session scheduling feature could be a bit confusing at first. But overall, it's a useful tool for staying on top of events and conferences.

- Might be overkill for casual event attendees

Very confusing app
I am sorry but the app needs a lot more work. It is unstable, unintuitive, filters and search features are not working.
Most problems I've encountered is with the QR code reader within the app, it does not work on codes from some perspectives or with overexposed lighting where a regular android...
