Description
Been using RustyBrick Siddur – סידור for a couple months now. It’s basically a Jewish prayer book app that’s got all the main prayers and services covered. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you can do – there’s weekday prayers like Shacharis, Mincha, and Maariv, with different nussach versions like Ashkenaz, Sefard, and Chabad. It’s got a zmanim (prayer time) calculator that uses your phone’s location, plus a minyanim database to find nearby synagogues. And the Jewish calendar feature is handy for keeping track of holidays and stuff.
Look, if you’re a religious Jew who wants an all-in-one prayer app, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the navigation can be a little confusing at first – but overall it does the job pretty well. Worth checking out if you need a siddur on the go.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on RustyBrick Siddur - סידור. I've tested a bunch of Jewish prayer apps and this one's one of the more full-featured ones I've seen. The amount of content and different nussach versions is really impressive. And the location-based zmanim and minyanim finder are super useful. The only downsides are that the UI can be a bit clunky at times, and some of the prayers aren't as easy to navigate as I'd like. But overall, it's a pretty solid option if you need a comprehensive siddur app.
