Been using the Safe-Xtract Vehicle Recovery app for a couple months now. It’s basically a tool that takes the guesswork out of using synthetic ropes to get your vehicle (or someone else’s) unstuck. You just input a few details like vehicle weight, ground conditions, and winch capacity, and the app tells you exactly how much pulling force you need to get the job done. And
There’s a bunch of other useful info too – it’ll give you rigging recommendations and even suggest non-winch options like using traction mats or kinetic energy recovery if you don’t have a winch. Pretty nifty if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation on the trail or the backroads.
Look, if you’re into off-roading, overlanding, or just getting yourself or buddies out of the occasional ditch, you’ll probably find this app really handy. It’s not perfect – the UI could be a bit more intuitive – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my take on Safe-Xtract Vehicle Recovery. I've tested a bunch of vehicle recovery apps and this one's one of the better ones. The ability to just plug in your situation and get the exact recovery force needed is super helpful. And the recommendations for non-winch options are a nice touch. The UI could be a bit easier to use, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward. Overall, a solid app that'll get you out of a jam when you need it.
