I made 3 attempts to get my order to go through - it kept asking for my 3-digit code. I did that, but each time, I got a message saying the order couldn't be processed. This was NOT user error; it was a merchant site error. Made me very suspicious of possible hacking going on. The order finally went through, after I got a notification that I still had things in my cart. I'll be checking my account for fraud now.

I'm trying to sign into my newly created account and I literally can't see the captcha that is supposed to show up. This feels like a critical issue that needs to be resolved promptly. I'm on Android 15, OneUI version 7.0. Try logging in then it says "we got a make sure you're a human" but nothing ever shows up for me to complete therefore not allowing me into the app.
WOW, Sam's AND their app gets worse daily. I just don't get it. I just spent half an hour trying to place an order and the app just wouldn't Cooperate. I'll just place my order with Costco instead. When it causes more stress than it's worth as the consumer? That when I take my business and money elsewhere. I stopped shopping in Walmart almost 10 years ago. Now it appears Sam's has tied with them as one of the most troublesome places to do business with. I just can't anymore. Sorry, NOT sorry🤷
the app when I first installed it last year was great, seamless with no problems. but this year they updated the app and I've had nothing but issues with it. it's slow and laggy. I constantly have to close the app and get back into it, and I've noticed that lots of the category buttons don't work, you click and nothing happens . I've had issues with the total being correct in your cart or reverting back to the original number when I delete something from my cart and a whole host of other issues
it used to be a good app, and the only reason I shop here instead of at Costco. since the last update, it has become a collection of glitches and a constant source of frustration. the only thing worse than the app is the tech support. I have been on chat with them about 6 times since the last update and they have not solved a single issue yet. currently, the issue is I have earned Sam's cash and would like to use it, but the app "encounters an error" every time I want to use this cash.
The Sam's app is okay but it can be great. The scan and go is amazing. I get to skip massive lines in the weekend. The problem is I can never find anything. The Walmart app has a map and tells you exactly where the product is. For them being the same company you'd think the apps would have some similar features. Add scan and go to the Walmart app and add the map and locate feature to Sam's app. Then both can be great👍
I love the shipping and pickup options from Sam's Club. I don't have to drive to the store, walk through the store, and load up my cart. Some items are quite heavy for me. I don't have to push the heavy cart to my car (which is most likely fairly far away) and load the items by myself. (I am a senior citizen) I do more shipping and pickup as I get older. It's just easier for me.
took multiple times to get code for 2 factor authentication, after I kept requesting new code and then I got locked out for 15 minutes. the entire order process took me over 30 minutes. not acceptable. I was about to order somewhere else! This is the 2nd time this week that my experience with ordering online at Sam's Club has been les than stellar. The first time was much worse, it took me 3 hours and 5 phone calls only to find out the wasn't available in my state. No Bueno!
The app hasn't worked in a month! I emailed tech support and heard nothing back. As soon as I log in it logs me out. Repeatedly. I deleted the app. Reinstalled and the same thing happens. I've gotten other people to try on their phones and the same thing happens. This supper sucks. I love the scan and go function but can't use it anymore.
Exceptional app for home delivery. Sam's Club makes it easy if you are homebound, busy schedule, or don't drive. Fill your cart and if you are a Plus member order $50.0 or more and have it delivered for free. You can do an auto tip or none. I like to tip at drop off, that way I know when it is delivered and can put away cold items. They usually deliver within the 2-hour window you choose. I live further away so my delivery is closer to 2 to 2.25 hours.
love the convenience of scan & Go and delivery when I can't get there and need some essentials. however, lately, the prices aren't so appealing on food items that used to be more affordable and literally no reason for the price hike unless the fresh meats come from overseas? and if that's the case I'm done buying meats from there!!! if not, then i hope they bring the prices down again soon!
I love the scan and go while shopping in the store. I just scan my items as I go, and then when I'm done, I pause for a bit and complete my purchase. No checkout lines to stand in. Just finish paying to get your QR code and go. 99% of the time you dont even have to stop for them to verify the cart because the scanners you walk through verify it. And being able to easily put in a pick up order is great too.
I recently started having issues with my saved items. I can no longer view them, except for the first 5 items. I like to keep items that I buy frequently saved in my list so that I can go back to it and order what I need easier. But now, I can no longer view them. even after updating, the issue is still there.
Fix your reviews so you can actually click on the pictures. It's already hard enough to zoom in on the item listed. You have to take a screenshot to actually zoom in on the whole thing. It's BS that you took away free shipping for plus members. That's why I signed up for it. You're one of the wealthiest corporations in the world yet you take away perks that people literally pay extra for! Stop being so stingy and do better!
The Sam's Club app is easy to use and navigate for all your needs. The best features I use are "Scan and Go" and the "Scan for Fuel" features. Once you save a couple of credit cards, it's quick and convenient to switch between them for purchases. Scan and Go is the best feature because I scan my items as I shop, choose the credit card I have on file, slide to purchase and get QR code, and walk out, avoiding the long line of registers and self-scan registers. Such a great convenience. LOVE IT!
Horrible Experience both the app and website are having issues and after years of using the perfectly good app the dumb developer decided to make changes that prevents orders from being placed because it wants more personal information than it already has and has been verified over and over. Go to the website and same issue exist. of course this is happening on the last day of their sale so orders can't be placed for lower sale items. Get your stuff together!
I like it to use for the scan and go feature, but lately I've been using the online order and curbside pick up. I have the plus membership, so I can choose early pick up. The app is so difficult when I'm trying to check in before they "open", and I have to sit there for some time before the app registers what I'm trying to do. Half the time the Contact Us option doesn't work and only gives an error. Please fix this!
I think it is almost better than Costco, due to the fact that online ordering and in-store purchases are the same price, they offer curbside pickup and more of a variety of brands across the board. I think it's worth it to get the upper membership. I've never had any bad customer service experiences. the food I get when I do pickup orders, is always pretty good (nothing old or moldy like I have gotten from other pickup/delivery services).
Endless scroll sucks! Why pay a membership for what walmart gives you free? Searching for a specific item? You have to scroll past all the repetitive, unrelated items multiple times and you never know if you have seen all of the applicable results. This app used to allow you to browse a category like new or limited time items and know what was available. Now with the sponsored items and multiple repetitive entries you can't know that you have seen everthing.
