Been using the San Diego Zoo app for a couple months now. It’s basically a guide app for the zoo – you can use it to navigate the park, find your favorite animals, and plan your day. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a map that shows you where everything is, and you can follow preset walking paths to hit all the highlights. It’s got schedules for animal feedings and shows too, which is pretty convenient. And you can create a custom itinerary by adding the exhibits and experiences you wanna see.

Look, if you’re planning a trip to the San Diego Zoo, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of helping you make the most of your visit. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

So here's my take on the San Diego Zoo app. I've tested a bunch of these guide/planning apps for zoos and aquariums, and this one's pretty solid overall. The navigation and mapping features work really well, and I like that you can customize your itinerary. And the animal info and schedules are helpful too. On the downside, the free version has some annoying ads, and I found the UI a little clunky in spots. But for a free app, it's a pretty useful tool if you're headed to the San Diego Zoo.
