Been using the Sandbox Smart app for a couple months now. It’s basically a Bluetooth-connected coffee bean roaster that lets you control the roast level right from your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do – there are pre-programmed roast settings for light, medium, and dark roasts. But you can also mess with the manual settings and adjust the heat, fan speed, and drum rotation to get your own custom roast profiles. It’s got a nice clean interface and it’s not too complicated to use.
Look, if you’re into home coffee roasting, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to start roasting your own beans.
