INCREDIBLY POOR APP DESIGN. Can t get a login. TRIED FOR AN HOUR. Finally got one. Camera doesn't connect with the app. Reviews here are overall pretty pathetic. Uninstalling and the camera is going to the dumpster. I'll stick to a more reliable brand. Never again will I buy a Sannce product.

← Back to Sannce SightThe user interface is terrible. It appears there is no way to review a night's activities except in real time. So if, for example, you wake up and see the porch door standing open and wonder who did it you can't fast forward through the night's images to find out. Only pick one moment in time, wait five seconds for the DVR to find the recording, then play that moment in real time only. Isn't the whole point to be able to look back in time to see when a problem occurred? Either this app won't do it or it's so user unfriendly I can't find how to do it. Compare this to the Ring user interface and you will be unhappy with this product.
till now I was satisfying the app. since the last update, the app is pushing to buy with banner the cloud. first of all it's not free, second fir sure 100% directly connected to some Chinese State organization. to see recorded videos, must be downloaded into the app from the SD card. slowly, difficult, and another possibility to check from china the privat datas.. big brother is watching you. NO GO!!
The online account set up isn't working, but at the page of the login it will say "Local experience" (bottom of the page) click on this and register your device. You can then use it on your device (moblie etc) hope this helps. Feel free to ask any question and I'll get back to you. Note: you will be able to view this on your moblie network aswell as wifi connection. :)
I'd give it 5 stars if the app would receive push notifications properly...at 1st it would at least receive push notification when the app was open, but now it doesn't receive them at all. It's supposed to receive push notifications even when the app is closed!!!
Doesn't work. Doesn't connect to cameras. Useless.
Dreadful app. Just continuously loads. I guess they don't care once they have your money. I'm not going to reinstall the damn thing every time I want to use it. If you're buying CCTV based off app usability, then avoid this like the plague.
I registered over the phone number. Got my registration code via SMS and then clicked on "local experience" and scaned the cloud id barcode. Set up the camera and it worked fine. I even tried connecting over 4g. At first it didn't work, but after I restarted the app it worked fine. So far so good... Registration over email didn't work so 4 stars
great App when you get passed login page. Download the app as instructed by the security camera instructions ans was greeted with a log in page. Tried to set an account but the app failed to create the account. did this several times but no joy. tried online via a computer. but the account created did not work on the app. went back to android store and noticed somebody said to use the "local Experience" at the foot of the login page and hey presto it worked. Sannce you need to sort this out!
The app doesn't allow me to login. It says it has sent a verification code to my phone.... But it hasn't! I have an existing account already. So annoying. Also some.of my cameras have been 'IPC Disconnect'. I can't get them to work again. I need help!
After 2 weeks you loose the ability to view cameras on your mobile phone using mobile data, the issue has been narrowed down to UK mobile service providers changing some TCP settings every 2 weeks. Sannce customer service is excellent but they have not found a solution to this, they did try something their end for me which did work but only for 2 weeks and so now I am back to only being able to view when connected to a WiFi network which is no good for me at all.
Although not perfect, this app worked well enough. I had the camera set up, looking through the window. There was a setting "white light", that allowed it to work, as long as there was light outside. But can't use it like that anymore, due to the reflection of the night vision, on the window. This makes my camera useless, at night.
Since the last update all 4 cameras are out of sync. They start all at the same time then each one looses between 5 - 10 minutes. Cameras have been reset, hd cleared, WiFi reset, everything reset and set up new again and still it happens. I watch my kids in there bedroom, because one is disabled, and they are sat downstairs with me for last 10 minutes. WiFi is fast and strong and I have extenders around the 🏠 so that's not the issue. Issue is update. Please fix it. Perfect before this update
Very happy with the Sannce NVR and IP cameras when viewed via the HDMI cable on a monitor. Record and playback is good and the software works as expected... However this app is very disappointing! It's hit and miss at best! If I'm lucky, I can view some of the cameras 'live' but typically, I get a still image that doesn't update. This is equally poor whether on 4G or a good wifi connection. This app makes an otherwise very good system into a poor one. Please do better!!
Have used this for a few years now. It was flawless up until the last update. Cameras freeze on the app. If I zoom in on one camera and zoom back out, the other 3 reconnect. Not a WiFi issue. No changes to that. The only change was the app update. Now I'm considering ripping the cameras out and replacing wholesale. Update: These fleecing footpads now expect ME to PAY them MONTHLY to access MY data on MY DVR using the Internet that THEY DO NOT own. AVOID SANNCE AT ALL COSTS.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! This system is HORRIBLE. Have not received a signal notification/alert since installed (4 months). Our prior CHEAP cameras & simple software, had notifications for people, animals, vehicles.. etc. Was great to have peace of mind when out of town. This system is THE WORST, can't wait to ditch it & get something else!! Don't waste your time or $, there are better options that actually do what they are meant to. If I could, I would give it negative stars!
Have had no problems with the app so far other that the fact that it turns my brightness to 100% everytime I open to view my camera. This is a real problem for me as I am using it as a pet cam to make sure my puppy is okay during the night, so I really don't need my phones brightness up that high when I am just peeking at 2am If there is a way to sort this that I haven't found, then great! If not then please add one, it is really quite annoying!!
the system works great on the monitor but not at all via the app! It's COMPLETELY USELESS. Can't view live cameras as it says they are offline when they aren't and it won't do playback. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE PAID FOR CLOUD STORAGE WHICH SUPPOSEDLY ENABLES OFFLINE VIEWING.... errrm nope. We can view NOTHING past or present on any camera. COMPLETE waste of time and money for us without the app. Just save yourself the hassle and look at different brands with good reviews and systems.
Does what I need. Only issue is it's unclear where downloaded selections are. Appears to stop updating downloaded percentage
giving it a neutral review, as of today the app has completely stopped receiving camera feed. although on the monitor shows it's up and running but the app suddenly did not want to acknowledge that there's a device (NVR) present or turned on even though it is. it had other problems but they have been solved this is the first time in 6 years that I'm reaching out for help with this.
