Been using the Sarasota Herald-Tribune app for a couple months now. It’s basically a local news app that covers everything happening in the Sarasota area – from breaking news to sports to entertainment. Pretty solid if you live in or around Sarasota and wanna stay up to date on what’s going on.

The app’s got all the usual features – you can read articles, watch videos, get alerts for big stories. And there’s also an eNewspaper mode that lets you read the full digital version of the newspaper. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s pretty cool.

Look, if you’re into local news and wanna know what’s happening in your community, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying sometimes – but overall it does a good job of keeping you informed. Worth checking out if you’re in the Sarasota area.
