So here's my take on the Scandit SDK Showcase app. I've tested a bunch of barcode scanning and ID verification apps, and this one's pretty impressive. The scanning features are top-notch - it's crazy fast and accurate. And the ability to try out things like AR overlays and batch scanning is really cool. Not gonna lie, the interface could be a bit more user-friendly. But overall, it's a powerful tool if you need advanced data capture capabilities.

Description

Been using the Scandit SDK Showcase app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you test out a whole bunch of barcode and ID scanning features without writing any code. Pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a high-performance barcode reader that works with over 30 types of barcodes. You can also scan ID documents from 2500+ countries super fast and securely. And it’s got some neat AR overlays too – you can even scan multiple barcodes at once. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you work with barcode scanning or ID verification, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does a solid job. Worth checking out, especially since you can get a free trial.

Works really well for a few uses, but then the camera input rotates 90° and it no longer scans until I wipe the app's data. ASUS ROG 6 running Android...

I wish this app's technology was incorporated into atleast 1 Android app, paid would be fine with me. I would like it to have a couple simple features, 1 tap...

Very inconsistent. Takes a million tries to scan IDs. I even tried my own and it took forever while other ID scanning apps pick up on the first try
