Description
Been using Scanner App – Scan PDF & Docs for a couple months now. It’s basically a free app that lets you turn your phone into a portable scanner. Pretty solid if you’re into digitizing paperwork and stuff.
Here’s what you can do – you can scan receipts, notes, invoices, even whiteboards. There’s also OCR that recognizes text in your scans. And you can edit, sign, and share the scanned docs as PDF, JPG, Word, or text. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty useful overall.
Look, if you’re someone who deals with a lot of paperwork, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you’re looking to go more paperless.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Scanner App - Scan PDF & Docs. I've tested a bunch of scanner apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The OCR works well, the editing tools are handy, and it's nice that it doesn't send your docs to external servers. And the interface could be more polished, but it's easy enough to use. Not the most feature-packed scanner out there, but it covers the basics really well and it's 100% free. If you need a simple, reliable PDF and document scanner, this is worth a look.
