Wow, what a horrible app. First, when I launched it and typed in the first letters of "my event', the app displayed some matches, and then just hung -- endless beachball. I killed the app, and then restarted it hours later, and got past the "my event" screen -- but then, as others have reported, was unable to log in. I know i was using the correct username and password, since I verified them by logging into their web site. But every time I logged in, the app would just sit on the login screen. After 5 attempts across several days, I have uninstalled this POS. If I could give zero stars I would.
Reviews for Sched
← Back to SchedFrustrating. You sign up for the event and then have to manually enter in your schedule on the app. You can't access any of the materials from the app, you have to get on a computer to get to that. And the surveys to get credit for the event aren't on the app either. Not sure what the point of the app is since you have to use a computer browser to access anything. Waste of space
I was really hoping this would work for me. When I load the app, all I see is the main screen with a search bar. I try searching for anything and there are no results. There is no log in option on this screen either. Unfortunately it seems the mobile website also has some issues... As well as the main site. I can't seem to connect a LinkedIn account even though it says it's successful. I change my profile picture and click save, but it always reverts back to an old one.
This is unusable. I'm going to a four day festival with hundreds of effects scheduled across about 200 categories. There is no way to filter by category. You can uncheck one category at a time that you don't want to view. That's useless. The search sites not search the full event information, so that's not a workaround. I can filter by day, then scroll through a hundred items that don't clearly indicate what they are without individually opening then.
Useful app! Should be a way to add notes to saved events (e.g. I want to make a note on what type of music the band plays). Also, confusing app if you haven't logged in for a while, didn't tell me I already had a username and instead just kept rejecting me to setup a new account
Mediocre, limited app. Can't even filter on categories.
I've been a Sched user for years, both as an attendee and an event organizer. I can log into the Sched website just fine, but the app doesn't log me in. If I purposely enter the wrong password, it correctly says, "bad login". If I enter the correct information, the login screen accepts the input but doesn't advance. I can tap the Login button again, and the same thing happens. Useless! Pixel, Android Pie
Completely unusable -- the sign-in page doesn't even have a sign up option.
Wow, worst app and website of the year!!!! i couldn't manage to do simple things like create account and log in - every step was broken. Quite impressive. The website also is clearly made for desktop... although most users I am sure access it from mobile. unusable on mobile. Just very very impressive!!
love this app for conventions but really wish there was a widget for "my schedule" would love to have a quick option to see everything that I've picked for the day to be on my homepage of my phone.
Sched has made managing and attending events so much easier! I love how easy it is to browse sessions, build my personal schedule, and get real-time updates. The app is super user-friendly and works great both on desktop and mobile. It's especially helpful when events have multiple tracks or sessions happening at once. The check-in process, session feedback, and even the map feature make the whole experience smooth for both attendees and planners. Highly recommend for any event. big or small!
I have a great experience with the section, I learn different resources to work in my classroom.
Super Buggy. Using it for a convention schedule at the moment, and it is super buggy. The schedule for the convention will load and reload and half load and reload again over and over, making the app nearly unusable. This particular convention has used this app in the past, and there haven't been these issues before. Not sure what's up with this year.
A little slow, and I wish it would remember my filter settings, but it's way better than a paper schedule. Please add a filter option for hiding past events. A great feature to have would be to be able to share my schedule with selected users (without making it public).
Tried to delete my data, got sent a link via email. that link links to a url (a.sched.co) which has an invalid cert, since sched is currently restricting non-secure https requests because of HSTS, I cannot delete my account by just ignoring the insecurity warning. EDIT: I found out the reason, it's some redirect shenanigans where the link you get gets redirected to https however since my browser auto-upgrades to https before the website can send a redirect so I just land on the invalid cert
never got anything other than the astronaut on a dark background. I deleted and reloaded 3 times. no schedules, no events. just Major Tom ***UPDATE *** I deleted it, rebooted, and reloaded it and it works now. Great app!
it was extremely helpful, but had a huge flaw. worked perfectly until the actual event, and i had to just screenshot my schedule instead of looking at this app because it was so glitchy. Constant lag, reloading, scolling not working, schedule items dissappearing, etc.
Works well, missing 1 key feature for my groups. I use this app for SFF conventions with multiple tracks of programming. The major downside to this app is that we can only select 1 program per time slot to see on "My Sched." Many people would like to select multiple, and then decide closer to the time of the program which program to attend, depending on energy, etc.
Missing a very important feature of normal event schedules. -Overlap/duration times This app only shows start times in the block view. Sure you can click the event and see that it will last 2 hours but you won't know that at a glance so you have to click all the events. It's really sad this trash has replaced paper schedules that conveyed more info about time and location.
Trying to login for rOxnard event. Super complicated. Hard to login both on desktop and with app. For some reason, I can only see my schedule by using the link from the email that I was sent, but even that is intermittent at best. I ended up seeing the schedule on my phone right now, but there's no way I can duplicate the process. Saying forgot password was not much help. No online help, no email, no chat, no phone number. And, no obvious way to sync with Google Calendar. Wow!
