When trying to order ahead there is no button to actually add what you want to your cart, let alone add an extra shot of expresso to your drink. It just let's you see what they have. It doesn't even have prices. So what is the point of the order ahead feature, when I can't actworder ahead? The app will not let me sign in. It asks for my email address I put it in it sends me a link to click that has me download the app I already have and am trying to sign into!

I have emailed customer service twice with no response after 7 days. I was one purchase away forum my free drink so this is incredibly frustrating. This app was great up until the new release a few weeks ago.
One time link login update is very broken. The one email address that I originally used, it keeps giving me an error every time I ask to send me a link. Everything was working fine guys, keeping the login working like a normal app developer would use and then you had to go and change it. Now I can't access any credits I have on my account nor can I order ahead. Cool
The app is super slow. Each click takes a full 4-5 seconds to load up. Also, other than providing a qr code to scan at the register and letting you browse the menu, it doesn't seem like this app has any functionality. You can't create an order or actually customize any drinks. It doesn't even tell you the prices of the items, it's just pics and descriptions. Let me create an order on the app. Give me all the drink options available in-store. Show me the prices so I can make an informed decision.
Needs improvement. The app allows you to tip, but only prior to the payment. It would be nice to have the option to tip after payment. Would also like to see what was ordered and the cost of the items, not just the totals of purchases. I never know how much each drink is if ordering multiple drinks for multiple people. Only work around is placing multiple orders which is frowned upon because it messes up their drive thru time.
Coffee is great, app has a need for improvement. It's hard trying to keep track of where my digital gift cards are at on my phone, it would be nice to have them easily accessible in the app itself. Also, might be nice to be able to preorder through the app so it is ready for pickup when arriving at the location. Although, the location i visit is really fast, I never have to wait long in line.
The update is actual garbage. It no longer tells me how much money I have on the app, it only allows you put in pre-selected amounts of money (i.e., cannot put in $15 like I used to anymore), the little chart on the front page of that showed how many drinks until a free one is now on a completely separate page, and is displayed on some sort of stupid progress wheel. The ONLY improvement is that you can now tip using the app.
The menu items are there but it is difficult for an app. Apps are supposed to make ordering easy, but all orders are like first time orders, including choosing a location. And I recently received a gift card and loading it to the app is impossible. I gave the app 2 stars because I like the coffee and staff. The app gets a 1 star. So disappointing in 2024.
I was told upon switching apps, which was mandated as the other stopped working, that I would have all my rewards and gift cards. I have lost all of them and find this app not as user friendly or intuitive. I am a loyal customer who stops by regularly on my way to work and often surprise coworkers with gift cards. I've lost about $10 and a few "punches" from before. I do appreciate going to a point system instead of punch, but I may not get the chance to use it.
I'm extremely disappointed in this app. I made an account and added my payment info only to find out that there's no option to order ahead, no pricing information, and no send to cart button. I'm also getting an error message when I try to log in to the account which I created earlier. Until the app is fixed, I'll be purchasing my favorite coffee elsewhere. At least I can order ahead through their app and know how much it will be. This app is ridiculous! If I could give it 0 stars, I would!
Regarding the updated app: failure at all points. The sign in process is not seamless when you have to use a whole other app to log in, and it takes 15 minutes to get the email. I finally got in and tried to order, and it took extra steps to just get to the ordering part. Once there, I tried to select a drink... and it displayed the app coding. So I drove to scooters, ordered, and tried to scan and pay to no avail. Try testing an app thoroughly before rolling it out to the public, devs.
I'm really confused. I receive notifications to order online for a drink with an add shot, implying that it can be purchased in app, but when I search items you can't add anything to cart. What is the point of this app? I'm not a boomer, this just literally makes no sense. After reading other reviews I now see this app is a waste of time and they have not been receptive to customer feedback. That's disappointing. Waste of space on my device.
I love Scooters and am so happy there's finally one in the area. Only thing I'd change in the app is a better way to customize drinks. My hubby prefers extra syrup and I like less, but there's no way in the app to tell the barista that. I end up having to tell them at the speaker, and this anti-social introvert hates talking to people. The menu should also say how much of something is in a drink (# of pumps, # of shots) so when ordering, we know how to specify the number of whatever we want.
This app is not for ordering drinks ahead of time (which is fine) and makes paying and earning rewards easy. My one complaint is that once reaching their highest level, there would supposedly be more rewards. I think in 9 months there had been two double smile days and one or two extra shot days. I was hoping for more when I downloaded it to earn rewards! Also, it'd be nice if they get sent out sooner when they do happen. I often recieve them once I'm already at work.
Pretty straight forward for making new orders no problem there but have a few annoyances. 1. Would like to tip AFTER picking up order. 2. Option to veiw previous orders without adding them to a new order. Already double ordered because of this. Not too upset because food is good enough. 3. Viewing rewards while still on the food menu would be nice instead of backing up all the way to the main menu.
Latest update failure While the upgrade process went well, the actual use of the app is a failure. First, I can no longer see past orders, even the order I placed today. Second, I could a "failure to process" an order twice, and the suggestion was to reload. I did that the first time and processed my order again. Same result. I then looked at my CC transactions, and both went through, even though I got an error on the app. The local cashier could not cancel one, so I got double orders. PIA.
Edit: it appears they've fixed the app, so I'm upping my rating. This app was great until the latest update. Now I can't even login as they've gone "passwordless" and it causes an error when I try to login. I had a reward in my account and now I can't access it and have no idea when this issue will be fixed. Incredibly frustrating.
Good but could be better! I like that you can add/ transfer multiple gift card balances. It would be really nice if the app was updated to allow users to save favorites. Please add the customization option to choose 'less' or 'no ice' for cold beverages. It would be a wonderful if those with dietary restrictions would be able to have non-dairy alternatives for without an extra surcharge please!
I love everything about Scooter's coffee! This app just makes the ordering experience a little smoother. But on that note, I believe it would be helpful if when choosing a milk alternative, there was an option afterward to choose "whip or no whip". Since this changes the preparation approach, it would be most beneficial to have that option selected already in the app. Beyond that, I love the perks program, the coffee, the service it's all great!
I like the app although I miss the 10% tip option. However, today's update is a disaster. When I click on the link to their account confirmation page, nothing happens. As their help page instructed, I deactivated my account and recreated it in the app. I still can't login. This is beyond frustrating. They should have known about this before releasing the update. From what I've read, I'm not the only one with this problem.
