I didnt mind this app, it worked pretty well for me. In the future if I ever need a part time job when I'm done with classes then this app would be prefect to use in an attempt to get a part time job.
Reviews for Seasoned Service Industry Jobs
← Back to Seasoned Service Industry JobsThe default location search is showing me a bunch of jobs 50+ miles away with no way to sort by distance. Ridiculous.
they set you up for interviews when they have a hiring freeze. done this two times already. they send ai messages that make it look like it's from a manager. apparently they don't like this app either so it's not just me.
Used this twice within the past few months (April-June '25) and didn't ever hear back from anyone. Several years in customer service and restaurant experience. Makes no sense why in the app called SEASONED that a restaurant wouldn't want a SEASONED employee. Don't use this and waste your time. Each day is precious.
The app and the follow-up are inconsistent with the Employers. They are not communicating correct feedback and not updating their claims. Its is supposed to be easy, there is nothing easy about this app. It is not making connections as it is advertised.
this is a fake app . I've had 4 interviews that managers were unaware of. the recent one I had I got a interview then had to reschedule the interview. then I get a message that they were no longer interested. I called these places . it's a scam and waste of time
Not receiving the text code from the app. I've retried multiple times and made sure my number is input correctly.
unable to confirm#. tried to resend several times, checked and double checked my number was correct. uninstalled
the interview it told me i had was a complete lie. the restaurant had no knowledge of it and said they didnt have access to seasoned anyway. still got the interview and the restaurant staff were kind and professional as always. Seasoned app? 0 stars
the only reason this app is bad is because it only shows jobs and hour and more away by rtd, but you get the fastest interview scheduled, better then zipricuter, indeed, next door, LinkedIn and more apps then that most likely
Really buggy on the android. Not sure it was even tested. Dropdowns don't function well, was unable to complete a simple job application.
I have been using this app for years. I have used it in four different cities. I have scheduled countless interviews out of desperation. Only one interview has been a success. I have had resources wasted driving to "confirmed" interviews with management unaware and incapable of providing said interview. I have been turned away after being told "This manager prefers not to use Seasoned." I have been rescheduled while arriving to interviews only to be turned away on the second scheduling.
I would give 0 stars but, it's not applicable. They lied to me 3 times by saying these places were hiring and I called them and they said they were not hiring and all apps are too be done in person and they don't use job sites for hiring purposes. DOUCHE BAGS!
this app is useless AF if you don't have a food handlers in the state you live in. Also, whether you have experience or not the Managers don't even be active on seasoned. y'all might as well throw this app in the trash already and create something else that is more useful and guaranteeds a job.
an employer wanted me to schedule an interview through this app. I never used it before and needed to create an account... there is NO place to create an account. I just entering my email and hoping it would say no account found please sign up but that didn't work. I also tried saying I forgot my password... also didn't work. guess I won't be getting an interview since that's the app they want to use to schedule them..
I can only speak for my experience, but I've gotten several interviews from the app. Each time I actually show up to the restaurant I get told that, not only did they not know about the interview, but they weren't hiring in the first place. The whole thing appears to be automated by seasoned. No manager actually has to go in and manually agree to the interview. You're better off applying on the company website. What a waste if time.
This app makes it almost impossible to find work, and it seems that they do all they can to make it difficult. I scheduled 4 interviews last week. The first one management did not even know I was coming. The second was cancelled because I did not respond to the confirmation within 2 hours. The third ended up being at a location 225 miles from me. And the fourth did not offer any info on downtown parking. Resulting to me being 45 minutes late. So I did not show up. ZipRecruiter forces it's use.
I enjoyed this app and got a job offer from an interview through the app. I would say this app isn't 100 percent a scam and is legit. I rated this 3 stars because there are some things it could improve on. They could give more job postings that are nearby. Most (not all) listings are for jobs that are decently far and even in another state. There is no setting to adjust distance, which isn't great on the design aspect of things. So this makes looking can be more difficult.
It lists lots of jobs in my state.... but not in my town. And there's no options to look up jobs near me, only the option to look up specific company locations. On top of that, it gives me locations several hours away and nothing near me. There's no option to set a distance limit or otherwise. Makes searching impossible.
Do NOT use this app. I have had three separate interviews scheduled through this app. The first one i scheduled and showed up for, only to be told they not only had no appointment for an interview, but the "managers" name I gave them didn't exist. The other two both suddenly "cancelled" exactly an hour before each was scheduled with no explanation. No phone call. Just notifications and email from the app. If I could find a way to sue for wasted time and energy as well as travel expenses I would
