Description
Been using Second Phone Number for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you a second phone number to use for private calls and texts. Pretty solid if you need to keep your personal number hidden for work, online selling, or just privacy in general.
Here’s what you do: you can get a second number through the app, and then use that number to make calls or send texts without your real number ever being involved. There’s also an option to ‘burn’ the number when you’re done, so there’s no trace. Kinda cool feature if you’re talking to strangers or doing something private.
Look, if you value your privacy and need a way to keep your main number under wraps, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s something you need.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Second Phone Number. I've tested a bunch of privacy/burner number apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The ability to instantly get a new number and then delete it when you're done is super handy. Cuts down on spam and keeps your real info private. On the downside, the app can be a little glitchy at times and the free version has some limitations. But if you need a reliable second number, this gets the job done.
