Description
Been using Securly Home for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets parents control their kid’s school-issued device when they bring it home. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do – you can view a real-time feed of your kid’s online activity, block certain sites, and even pause the internet completely. There’s also the ability to set custom rules and screen time limits. Took me a bit to figure some of that out, but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you’re a parent who worries about what your kids are doing online, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the interface can be a bit clunky – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your kid’s device.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Securly Home. I've tested a bunch of parental control apps and this one's pretty solid. The activity feed is super helpful to see what your kids are up to, and the filtering/screen time features work well. It's not the most user-friendly app, but it gets the job done. Compared to other options out there, I'd say Securly Home is a good balance of features and ease of use.
