So here's my honest take on Settle Up – Group Expenses. I've tested a bunch of money-splitting apps and this one's pretty darn good. It's got all the features you'd expect, plus some extra useful stuff like the ability to account for different payment weights. The interface takes a little getting used to, but it's not a dealbreaker. For what it does, I'd say it's one of the better group expense apps out there.

Pros

  • Tons of features to handle all kinds of expense-splitting scenarios
  • Works offline, so you can use it even without internet
  • Free to use, no need to pay to access the full set of features
  • Available on Android, iOS, Windows, and the web

Cons

  • Interface can feel a bit cluttered with all the options
  • Setting up new groups and expenses takes more time than it should
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay for the premium version

Been using Settle Up – Group Expenses for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you keep track of expenses and IOUs with friends, family, or coworkers. Pretty solid if you’re always splitting the bill or chipping in for group trips and events.

Here’s what you do: you can add expenses, and it’ll automatically calculate who owes who. There’s also the option to set different payment weights if some people paid more. And you can even add incomes, which is a nice touch. Takes a bit to get used to all the features, but it’s pretty intuitive overall.

Look, if you’re always the one who ends up chasing people for money, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little cluttered sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need an easy way to keep group finances organized.

Can you please stop with the double ads? I will not pay a massive subscription fee, stop asking.
