Worked fine before but lately it's been charging me twice for the same order. Just like others have reported. I submit my order, prompts me to sign in, then has me submit an order again....pls fix! As of 04/09/21, the app no longer works and won't process any of my orders. Tried several different CC's with the same error message.

I feel like this is someone's kid's high school project. The app is literally the worst app on my phone. We dread using it. It makes you login every time it loses focus, which means you have to put your order in again because it wiped it. This last time, I went all the way to payment, it popped up the login for fun, I logged back in, redid the order and when I clicked review, it posted the order from previously. The best part, it defaults to 10% tip, so it over tipped for an order I picked up.

Awful app. It seems fine until you are ready to check out. Then the app will freeze or ask you to login again and you basket is still there asking you to checkout and meanwhile you have already been charged leading to duplicate orders/charges. You also can't see when promos have been added or not. I removed a promo and tried to add to my next order and was told its been used even though previous order was not credited and i had removed the promo. Definitely keeps me from ordering here.

I wish I could give this app negative stars, It taunts you with good looking food that it won't let you buy. I put my order together, was excited for the food, then I tried entering my PayPal information and 3 different credit cards and it refused to accept any forms of payment! Now I'm pissed off, hungry, and getting rid of this garbage app. Also, as a separate complaint, it doesn't save your location information which is objectively blatantly stupid.

Refuses to process payment, gives no reason beyond "oops! something went wrong!" First time using the app or even attempting to try Shake Shack (until recently there weren't any close to me). Had a promo code for a free Shackburger w/purchase, so thought why not? Tried 3 different payment options. Same message. No idea when I'll bother trying to order anything from this place again. Probably never, tbh.

The app is an awful, abysmal piece of trash. I was unable to log in after several tries and when I did finally get I was unable to reserve a Time anything other than ASAP for ordering food. Once the order was in the system I was unable to use my credit card because it wouldn't accept it it kept telling me servers were down. I finally had to go to the website and place the order which wasn't a much better experience this is really sad.

I waited just as long and got less fresh food. When I got to the mobile pick up counter, the worker was checking and rechecking an order that did not go through, ignoring the line of people who just needed to be handed a bag. He ended up filling the order from scratch, before bothering to pass me my order, that had been sitting there the entire time.

Don't waste your time. After entering and re-entering and re-entering my credit card information, only to have it glitch out and reject the number, the expiration, my zip code, and my name, I had enough. To add insult to injury, if you back out it deletes the entire order. Wasted 30 minutes, gave up and ordered elsewhere. Uninstalled.

The app just doesn't work. For weeks I have not been able to place an order through the app or their website. Every card I try and Google Play says they couldn't process the transaction. I have tried cards for multiple banks. I have retyped them many times and I have confirmed with the banks there's nothing wrong with my card. If you go to the restaurant the same card will work no problem. The app has one job and it can't do it, It should be zero out of 5.

Bombarded with notifications. Most of the app functionality is decent: you can find restaurants, order, see deals, etc. But the notifications are over the top. I want to get notified when my order is ready without signing up for 8 AM "Cluck Cluck! Use code CHICKEN when you order a chicken sandwich!" push notifications. (And for some reason, when they send these push notifications, they send them two at a time.)

Worst food app experience I have ever had. When I ordered in the app today, I never received an indication that my order was done. The app simply displayed that my order was still processing. After waiting and inordinate amount of time, given how slow business was in the restaurant, I went the window. Imagine my delight when I found out my order was ready and waiting. Only to be followed by the immense disappointment of a cold burger and some slushy milk (sans the shake). ZERO NOTIFICATION!!!

For some godforsaken reason, they removed the ability to remove and add specific ingredients to different sandwiches. To make it even better, whenever you place an order, it immediately logs you out, so if you didn't schedule a pickup time (by picking ASAP for example), you no longer have any clue when your order will be ready. Logging back in lets you see you made the order but can't track it still. To add a cherry on top of the dung sundae, the location I ordered to still managed to mess up.

On a recent curb side pick-up order, I had no way to indicate I was at the store in the app. Where'd that go? Went to talk to someone who couldn't find my order and waited an extra 20 minutes for order that got lost. Biggest travesty? App doesn't let you use Shake Shack gift cards(?!). How absurd, pitiful, pathetic, and customer unfriendly. Please add in ability to pay with gift cards ASAP.

Just spent 20 minutes fighting with this app to try and place an order. It wouldn't let me use a gift card and then it gave me issues with my GPay and then when I tried to add a new cc, and then it wouldn't let me click the continue to purchase button, and THEN IT DELETED MY CART!!! It must be occasionally okay, because I've used it, but it can be so buggy, I've also just given up and not ordered from them.

I have been trying to use this app for a while and it fails. Okay, fine, no biggie. Now they have black truffle back on the menu via the app but I can't even order it as it keeps telling me for two different cards that there is an error and the payment can't be processed. I spent almost an hour trying to see what I can do- even sign up for Google pay and uninstall and reinstall the app. Nothing worked. At least you can go into Shake Shack and see if you can just order in person instead.

I have to imagine Shake Shack is losing business with how bad the app is. Constantly have to log back on, re-enter an order, and try to pay multiple times. If you somehow manage to get through all that, you have to keep in mind that when you get the notification that your order is ready, it means they have only STARTED making your order. Expect to wait 5-15 minutes after getting notification for your food to actually be ready. Just a really bad experience all around.

It's a good app if you want to get what's on the menu with not many additional options. I couldn't add extra pickles on my Chick'n Shack. Nor could I use the ASAP option for time causing me to wait 25 minutes for my food when normally I wait 10-15 minutes with standing in a short line (which is how the line was). I also couldn't receive the Mall Employee or Military Discount like I usually do. Just need to add some features and it will be a 5 star app.

The WORST app ever. So many bugs. I am unable to sign in I didn't change any password at all. I did the reset and nothing. Still unable to sign in. But then I encountered this, I pull down the "sign in" window and there was another one. I pulled that one and another and I'm in the main menu for a couple of seconds until it kicks me out. But WAIT, my phone STARTED to heat up A LOT. It's like playing a mobile game and having the graphics to MAX. It was so bad I had to get off. Terrible app.

I'm rarely able to place an order without at least one error message, which never gives the slightest clue as to what's causing the problem. Instead it just says "Oh no! There's a problem" and I usually spend an extra 5-10 minutes (at least) debugging before it finally goes through (if I haven't given up on ordering anything after 20+ minutes).

Good app with good customization options. But I typically order the same thing every time time, and this is one of those ridiculous apps which clears your cart if you change locations. Follow up: I just ordered in a different city. I put my phone down for literally under two minutes. When I unlocked, it had cleared my cart. So I reordered. But I didn't notice it also *silently changed the location back to where I was last week*. There's $40 down the drain. :(
