This app worked for most of the past year. Then it began asking me to sign in frequently. Now it doesn't show the area that it cleaned. I no longer can monitor completeness. The vacuum cleans well but without a regular route and sometimes retraces it's steps like it's confused. I can't plan when a bathroom will be available by it's randomness. Maybe another vacuum would have been better.

App is super buggy, needs a live map with an overlay of what's cleaned. For the first few times while it's generating a map, I should be able to drive/guide the robot to the boundaries and edges of multiple room.. would make the mapping process much easier. for such a large company total miss on the product and app. They need to look at their competitors products/app and quickly learn.

The app does not accurately track the areas that have been cleaned. "Mission Complete" report appears to have been fixed. However, the areas cleaned report on the calendar schedule does not show jobs completed accurately or any jobs completed at all. Supposedly, a software fix is coming soon to rectify this problem. Other than this, the vacuum, mopping, and other functions work great.

I'm happy with the vacuum, but the app is so bad that I can't recommend purchasing one. The app freezes, crashes, or is just painfully slow. It periodically forgets the map of my house and names of the rooms, which means the vacuum needs to relearn - a process that takes 4-5 hours because the vacuum has to completely recharge itself about 20 minutes before it would otherwise finish. Trying to merge and split rooms in the app is excruciating. Total frustration.

The app never really worked very well to begin with. Same main issues others have reported about constantly being logged out and rooms being deleted. The app would at least work most of the time though after readding rooms/relogging in, whatever was needed that particular day. Recently went to run the vacuum and loaded up the app only to find it won't pull up the maps at all nor will it let me add them back in order to pick a room to clean. The app is completely useless now. Can't even start.

Overall, it's a good product. Does the job getting around easily. The ability to pick rooms on my map is great. However, adding areas on the map is almost impossible. Also, there is no way to schedule specific rooms or areas for the schedule. It's do the whole house or nothing. Vacuum can't do a whole house on one charge. Fix schedule to do by room, and it would be a five-star product.

This app is awful. It makes you sign in every time you open it which is the opposite of convenient. It allows you to schedule a clean but only once a week. I got it because I have dogs and I wanted to run it every day. Now I have to get on the app, log on, reset all the settings, then start it. Every day. Takes the convenience away which is the point of the robovac. I will give the device a lot of credit. It works great! It definitely lessens the load of dog hair. Just the app is annoying.

I just moved. despite my phone, laptop, and other devices being connected to the wifi and the vacuum being less than 10 feet away from the router I cannot connect the vacuum to the wifi. not only is the app not finding my wifi, its not finding any of the networks in my building that every other device sees just fine. there should be a way to change the wifi settings without having to "add a new robot" but there's not one that I have found.

The app has been crashing constantly since the last update, which occurred a couple of days ago. We can only wait for the scheduled cleaning. I sent an email to the only contact they provided, and in response, they told me to call support so they can handle my claim!? What claim, I just need you to fix the app!

Not a well made app. It seems to have the best intentions, but fails to follow through. for example, there is a schedule feature that allows you to program when the unit runs. However, if you need to skip one you can't without canceling the whole damn program. Next, the app is slow and clunky and frequently fails to open all the way to manage the unit. Also, they advertise that this is good with pet hair, it isnt. Not event a little.

The app is filled with glitches and bugs. I own 3 different robot vacuums and 4 units total. if I hadn't gotten into the shark ecosystem with my first, i wouldn't have gotten my other 3, as I did not want to have to juggle between different apps. The shark app is glitchy, sluggish, will delete your saved rooms and/or your maps altogether. not to mention it will randomly sign you out which gets annoying. Been using this app for years and its always been having issues.

It will not save no-go zones. I want to use no-go zones so that the vacuum will not go into certain rooms regardless of whether the door is open or not. our previous vacuum was a Wyze and they had a much better app, it took less time to open the app and editing the map actually worked. Considering that the Shark is a more expensive product, I expected more from the app (at least for it to be on the same level as Wyze and not worse).

I'd rate this 0 stars if I could. To start, the app looks like a high school coding project and performance like one, too. The setup instructions are incorrect and outdated. Notifications have never worked, and the horrendous navigation of the menus makes me wish we never invented electricity. Oh, and if you ever want to swap wifi networks, prepare to spend 2 hours rolling dice and hoping the next try works because I'm genuinely convinced that the logic behind Internet connectivity is random.

so right from the get go, the app wont let me register, its very laggy and is clunky to use. I got the Matrix Plus and so far the first time trying to use its gotten stuck 3 times, and it doesn't return to base automatically when low battery. ive had to pick it up and put it on the charging dock twice now because it just runs out of battery in the middle of a room. not very impressive as it seems the basic features id expect in a "smart" vacuume are not there. ill be returning it.

Install and mapping was fairly easy, but the software doesn't remember the last power setting. I like to leave it on High and when it starts the app will say it's in High power mode, but if I change it to Normal the vacuum's power doesn't change. It's only after I've done that and then put it back on High that it actually goes into High power mode. Useless. And lately it refuses to work when linked with Google Home so none of my routines work at all. This is junk.

I am currently unable to operate any of my vacuum products because the app does not work. Spent hundreds of dollars for something that I can not use. Consider another brand, other than Shark/Ninja. Edit: Correction. It will allow you to log in to the app if and only if you enable data collection, which is supposed to be optional (other than terms and service). This is worrying from a consumer perspective.

App Sucks. The app is consistently buggy, and now I can't send the robot to a specific spot because of whatever lacks in communication between the machine and the app. I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times. At this point, I'll just spend the money on a better one. Also, there is no option to make that there are no carpets in the home, so I get pop-ups every time I open the app.

I don't understand this app being in control of a very good vacuum! It takes 30 seconds to load each page. No exaggeration it's slow! Although it has a schedule and individual rooms. You cannot schedule an individual room! This would be great to save battery and returns to the base. Efficiency! I'm not sure what the software engineers were thinking! I believe shark would have a special package if this app worked as well as the vacuum does. PLEASE take these changes into consideration!

I've marked no go zones, and even made them larger later. It doesn't make a difference, the vacuum still goes right through them. I've had two different, new, robot vacuums. Both ignore the no go zones I've setup. I can't get the robot to stop using the "Go to dock" feature on the app. The so takes forever to load and move from section to section. I've never seen an app go this slow. All other apps on my phone work fine for the most part. This app sucks.

The app is garbage. It won't connect to my wifi. My password is correct, I've rebooted several times, everything else connects fine. Half the time the vacuum doesn't even clean the whole map, and it won't even go when scheduled. I'm so beyond frustrated because I paid money for something to help me keep my place cleaner, but I often just need to manually vacuum myself which makes this purchase worthless.
