This works very well! Within seconds it will find any song. You can use it any time, even when you are doing something else on your phone. After not being able to recognize a theme that had many talking in it, (which made it harder to identify).. It tried again not many days later, and found it! I was so happy and impressed I felt the need to rate this app!
Reviews for Shazam: Find Music & Concerts
← Back to Shazam: Find Music & ConcertsUsed to be a great app but since the update, nothing works. For one, you try to search up a really simple song and nothing comes up. Even when im connected to internet. Two, its insansly slow, its infuriating. And three, if you try to watch the music video, read the lyrics or look at other songs it just says "something is wrong, try again." And you actually do try again and the same thing comes up. If nothing is wrong with the app, don't make an update. Plain and simple.
Anyone else having problems with Shazam working lately? Usually works great and I LOVE the app. But last couple of weeks it was not able to show Lyrics saying it was having trouble at the time. Now, it won't Shazam songs at all! It ALWAYS says it can't find the song, saved the info, and will provide song later. What's going on? It's not just coincidence... these errors are happening ALL the time now. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing works. Please help!! Thanks.
I dont usually do reviews, but I love the Shazam app. I use it almost every day. Since music is a huge part of everyday life, it's great having a tool to find the one song you hear at the supermarket/restaurant. Or settling a little debate between friends on which song is playing at the bar. One thing that is annoying me is that I have to continuously turn on my settings for the notification bar. When I came to make the review, I noticed I needed to update the app. Hopefully, it helps.
The app searches the song near instantly, and is able to provide the lyrics for the song most of the time, with active listening it even helps you keep up with the music too which makes it perfect for Karaoke! There are other features as well that let's you save the songs you enjoy for later and even create your own library of those songs.
This app has been great over the years, but recently, when I try to search / Shazam a song from a show or when it plays on the radio it doesn't show up," No results", would be plastered on my phone screen. It's a bit disappointing, or when I use another app like Google or YouTube or a dupe app, the song and with the artist pops up. Just to make sure it wasn't just my device, I used Shazam on three other devices to look for the song or a variety of songs, and it still didn't pop up.
Ludicrous bandwidth hog *even when it's not being used at all*. Installed this app to identify a song playing on my Chromecast from the same phone. Suddenly the Chromecast couldn't play for more than 2-3 seconds without buffering. Uninstalled and the Chromecast is back to normal instantly. And to reiterate, this is when Shazam isn't even supposed to be listening at all, even though it clearly still is. Awful and invasive.
Shazam is a Real One In an era where everyone seems determined to ruin their tech products to chase a couple of extra cents from each user, Shazam just keeps working as good as it always did- great. Does exactly what it says it's going to do- finds the music, finds it fast unless it's obscure or super noisy, then tells you where to find it. Guys, if you're listening to me, don't ever change.
Amazing app! Use it everyday, never had a problem with it. Works best if only the song is playing, like no background noise or talking. Also works as a great substitute for Spotify. Doesn't play all of the song, just a little bit of it (maybe that's different if there's some kinda premium version idrk) but yeah great app, highly recommend
I Still love this app just as much, if not more, as I did the very first time I ever used it. It's all around an awesome app! it's extremely rare that It can't find the song info that ur looking for an I love the fact it gives u a bunch of similar songs and artists depending on whichever song u shazamed last. An I also like how it gives u all the song s info such as featuring Arts as well as the album name and the year it came out. Definitely recommend!
Good app, but for the last year or so the feature that has it vibrate when it finds the result has been intermittently not working. I'm disappointed by the amount of time I've spent trying to fix something that stopped working out of the blue, and it's always a shame when a company breaks their own stuff
Doesn't pick up music played through my Bluetooth earbuds at the gym, which is where I'd love it to work. Instead, it picks up the awful gym music played in the surrounding speakers even though the Headphones icon confirms that it knows I'm wearing headphones. Frustrating. Other than that, Shazam's great, accurate around 90% of the time.
This app was something I feel like I wished into existence. I've had it since it came out and it nearly never fails to find what I'm looking for. It's a lifesaver in supermarkets, parties, or out and about when you hear a song come on you only heard once before and didn't know the name of. I've had the occasional issue of it finding songs that weren't the ones being "shazamed," but its, as said before, occasional and usually only when I try to get "deep-dive" stuff.
this app is amazing! it's extremely helpful when I'm trying to find the name of a song that I can't remember, or am hearing a new one for the first time on an ad, movie, out in public, whatever! the only complaint I have is it won't pick up on the song (through your phone) when you're wearing earbuds. besides that, great app! edit: I switched phones (I now have a newer samsung - s22 rather than an outdated galaxy) and now it will work with earbuds! no complaints now!
This app used to be my go to when it came to finding the title of songs. Unfortunately, it seems to struggle quite a bit when it comes to songs in different languages or covers. Nowadays, Google's own "search a song" function has been MUCH more reliable at finding the title to tracks that I haven't been able to through Shazam. It's quite a shame and doesn't make this app worth having downloaded anymore for my use case.
I've been using it for the longest time because it's extremely useful app for me especially when listening to Trance gigs. It used to be so difficult & many times you're just waiting for someone to post the track listing before you can know the name of the track. Shazam came along & instantly became the game changer but for me it's also a life saver!
5.8/10. I’ve been using Shazam for almost 5 months, and now, it’s time to review it. It’s a great app for discovering some music/songs on the go (although they have some inaccuracies when Shazaming). However, other features like Auto Shazam, which I use the most in this app, sometimes refuse to continue, and it’s not like single result mode; it just disables automatically randomly (bug in the app). Another similar app is SoundHound, but it only detects songs in an app and not in the background.
Pretty good overall, but since the new updates, even though I have it set to stay in my notification bar for convenience, after a while it'll go away and won't come back until I physically open the app again. Also it still gets a few songs wrong or just flat out gives up trying to figure out what they are every now and then, but I'm sure that'll be fixed as more time goes on (update: down to 2 stars because the problem is even worse now)
Ever since Apple bought Shazam it's gone down hill. Half of my 760 Shazams never pull up the video. It pulls up everything else but the video tile is blank. Then, there's a large part of songs that show the correct title in the library screen but when i open it up it's a completely different song. I used to really like this app but it's becoming more effort than it's worth.
Please stop turning up results that are from a compilation album unless the song is a remix, because I'd like to know when it originally came out. This app is great! It gets songs fast and most times correct. Although sometimes they do get them totally wrong or unrelated, search it again and it will most likely get the right title, occasionally the wrong group though. What bugs me is that you can report a "wrong song" but can't specify what's wrong with it.
