Description
Been using Shortcut Maker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you create shortcuts on your Android home screen for pretty much anything – apps, files, settings, websites, you name it. Pretty solid if you’re into customizing your phone and quick access to stuff.
Here’s what you do: you just select what you want a shortcut for, tap Create, and boom – it’s on your home screen. There’s also a bunch of preset shortcuts for common things like changing Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings. And you can make shortcuts for specific activities within apps, which is kinda handy.
Look, if you’re into productivity and organization on your Android, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI could be a bit more intuitive – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your home screen.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Shortcut Maker. I've tested a bunch of launcher and customization apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The variety of shortcuts you can create is great, and it's super easy to use. And definitely scratches that itch if you're into streamlining your phone. That said, the design is a little basic, and some of the more advanced features take some digging to figure out. But if you don't mind a learning curve, it's a really useful tool to have in your Android arsenal.
