Reviews for Shotsy - GLP-1 Tracker

← Back to Shotsy - GLP-1 Tracker

The premium version of shotsy is totally worth it. Helps me keep track of my weight, injection date/time/site/side effects. As a very visually motivated person the graphs that it provides are great. The only thing I would change is being able to zoom in on the trend graph. Would recommend and will continue to use for my entire GLP-1 journey

Using on Android. Lots of features that work on iOS don't work on Android. I paid the 20 bucks for the year and not happy with the app. The home page blinks on for a second then goes away, never been able to see what it is...🤷‍♀️. There is no shot reminder feature on Android. They said 'it's high priority', but still not available. And, now today, the note section is not working. I keep getting an error message that says 'App version configuration failed'...🤦‍♀️. Ugh!

I love it! My only issue is sometimes my notes in the calendar section don't save (or maybe I forget to click save?), and I sometimes have to put stuff in the shot section and in the calendar section just to make sure I keep track of which leg, how much medication, etc.. I take a compound version, so the measurements aren't 1 for 1 for doses and I've taken different brands, which have different measurements.

I have been really liking the app. Easy to maneuver and track your shots and how your weight/side effects are going. That being said in the last week or so it's become impossible for me to enter my weight. I enter it and hit save and it just sits there. I wait and it never does anything and if I close the app it definitely didn't save anything. I completely uninstalled it yesterday and it did let me save but again today I can't save anything. Not sure if this is a bug in the update or just me.

So far this is a great app, it's just missing the ability to zoom in and out of your summary, showing your weight loss for a specific period, and it also lacks alarms to let you know when your next shot is due. I take my shots once every 3.5 days and it's a pain to be late because most apps don't consider every 3.5 days as a interval for alerting.

I decided to upgrade to premium since I knew I'd be on a glp-1 for at least 1 year. However, the app itself is wonderful! I love everything about it - the shot tracker, the calendar, and the results page! You can see your body weight loss %, your BMI, lbs lost/lbs from goal, and much more!

Like the app. I realized that the chart that ppl are saying is cut off can actually be moved. I pulled the right side of the chart up and now can see the weight numbers above the widgets on the bottom. I like seeing the approximate amount of medication in my system and that I can adjust the amount. I split the dose one week and glad I could put it in the app that way.

YUK!!! Android users DO NOT buy the premium package!!!! Worst app I ever used! Works better on ios then android even with the premium package. There are many glitches and extremely hard to read. I just use it for entering my weight and that doesn't even work well because it doesn't calculate 1/2 lb or a 1/4 of a pound. It only takes one more developer for a different app and I'll be done with this one!

Works great. Simple to use. It would be nice to work with Health Connect and import and show steps progress all in one app. Unable to select date range for Results chart. For example, each month's weekly loss. And even a monthly loss value since our calendar has 12 of them. Averages are wonky because they can be skewed by the beginning weeks when loss of greater/faster. That's one reason for customizable date ranges.

This is such a great app for tracking everything to do with glp-1 medications including the amount of medication in your system at any given time, dates of each shot, weekly injection site, side effects, weight loss, you name it! I have relied on this app very heavily since starting my Zepbound journey and it has been my constant companion! It's well designed and very user-friendly. I'm using the paid version which is well worth every penny! Highly recommend!

Designers have listened to suggestions and made changes accordingly. The feature I find the most valuable is having an idea of the level of Wegovy in my system. I've been on Wegovy since May '24 and at the higher dose of 1.7, I started experiencing nausea. For me, if I inject at the appropriate time (by watching my levels here), I can avoid that nausea 85% of the time. That has allowed me to stay at the 1.7 dose which is working well for me. I'm now 14 pounds from goal and this app has helped !

very helpful in tracking side effects, weight loss progress, and keeping track of days between shots and estimated amount of medicine in the system. it reminds you when it's shot day, and helps track protein, calories, and water also. pretty near like app overall. with getting premium, but not necessary for efficient use.

I really like this app to see the trends, goal progress, total changes, weekly average etc. It's very easy to use. However, the newest update on 7/16 removed the vertical line you could track on the results chart to see exact what weight you'd logged and the date. Now it's just the line chart by itself. Please bring back the ability to click on any weight on the chart to see the value. Edited- thank you for responding! Long press! Got it!

This app works well, but I really wish I could review my weight loss. It might be different for the premium paid app, but I use too many apps to track my wellness journey. I can't pay for them all. I use Shotsy specifically so that I can record where I did my previous shot, since that's all I can review without going through individual days.

App has worked well for me, though I'd love a couple more features. Being able to set notifications to remind me to take my shot would be fantastic and seems like it should be a simple addition. Would also like to be able to track and chart other progress metrics besides weight (A1C, blood pressure, other metabolic markers).

While it's basic, I love this app! I use so many apps to track health information. I do wish this app would work with some apps to automate some of the data entry. That being said, it literally takes maybe 1-2 minutes daily to gather that information and enter it. So, it's very quick to enter the basic data it asks for. I love the results screen where it color codes the dosage of medication and gives a nice graph. I'd love it if they made an easy report to print to give to doctors.

User friendly interface! Love that you are able to customise colour and symptoms to a certain extent. 4 stars because I had hoped o be able to track other measurements, not just weight. I now have to track measurements . Also, it doesn't really sync well with Health Connect. More often than not it doesn't import anything. Much better app than Weightly and the subscription price is better. Also really love that I can download my logs and show them to my GP

The Shotsy app is simple and easy to use. It allows me to log my weekly shot and my daily weight, calories, protein, and water intake. I love the chart that shows the estimated med level and the chart that shows my progress. I also love the ability to log daily side-effects. I have other apps and methods to track more detailed information. This app is perfect for the intended use. Thanks so much for creating an app that is straightforward, user friendly, and covers all relevant info!

Shotsy App is great for tracking your intake, calories, gives shot reminders; Does the math for you to know your average weight loss/gain, note your medication side effects, etc. Really good for tracking purposes, with the data you enter. I just wish it would give you feedback on the data, like if you are below the average calories/protein/water intake for you, it would let you know that you are low/high, etc.

Since the update, the app records every shot twice n I have to manually go in and delete the extra shot. The color coded chart is very helpful and motivating, I love seeing that line get lower every week! However, it's missing a key feature that I'd love to see added. Please put a dosage calculator in the app so that those of us who have compounded meds can calculate our dosage easily from the app. I currently have to find one online every time I change my dosage, which is a PIA! Thx!
