Horrible app, I had done 3 professional color analysis to find out my season and all said warm autumn. although this app gives you a quizz the only determinant is your hair color, your eyes and skin might change the season only on 2 hair colors. You're better off paying to get your color analysis from a professional
Reviews for Show My Colors: Color Palettes
← Back to Show My Colors: Color Palettesgot as quick find for what colors to try since Im newb. would love to see color names or RBG/HEX codes to get accurate color readings. would also LOVE to see if 2 separate color pallettes could mesh. (EX: deep autumn and clear winter, so couples can wear their respective pallette and still match as a couple and not clash. does that make sense??) would also love the option to put fem or masc results cuz boyf does not wear makeup, but outfit colors are needed. ya?
great app, I'm not sure tho if it assigned me correctly to warm autumn cause all the AIs claim I'm a warm spring actually lol (cold tone skin white as a ghost, bright topaz eyes and typical ginger hair, intense bright colour, not as dark as reddish auburn but not as light as strawberry blond! (and in the quiz there's no such option, just these two apparently 🙈 idk is it a weird combo? it's my natural colouring tho...) so... really exciting except that I'm kinda confused 🥲
So helpful for shopping! I find myself buying unsuitable makeup and clothing far less. I got all the premium extras and they are WELL worth it, especially the makeup. Even the core product is still good, though!
Took the quiz to test and it was not correct. Just goes to show how subtle things can make a difference. I'm light spring flowing neutral & it said I was a light summer. My hair is golden, my skin is peachy & my eyes are soft blue green but they didn't have that eye color option. I think the soft aspect is how I landed in summer with their quiz. So, pay attention to how it describes you in the pallette summary because it might be inaccurate.
Easy to use and very helpful offering not just your palette of colours but also possible combinations - outfit palettes, make up palettes, accessories that would work best on your type.Very happy with it.Be mindful when you describe your own features, and be honest of how you really look:)The differences in the palettes result form subtle nuances from the features of your eyes, hair, complexion you need to describe. The best would be to do it in natural light with white blouse and white headband.
Good and helpful app for you who already know your color seasons. But, the automatic color season test weren't accurate If you choose the wrong choice. For developer, maybe you can add color name to the color card. So the beginner like me can regonize the color easily.
It's great to see a variety of colours and colour variations on the basic palette, but the Favourites function didn't work for me. Also, I would have liked more explanation about the colours in the expanded palette. Edit* I restarted my phone and now it's working!
I like it so far...enough to pay for it 😊 I'm still stuck between 2 seasons (soft autumn n soft summer) but luckily for me they can take colors from each other. I want to start wearing more colors. The full screen color option is probably ONE of my favorite features to help adjust my (dark) wardrobe.
It is really a great app and really straightforward to use. However, it would be great if the colours have names on it, especially on those with the same colour zone. So that could notify the colours, and that will be totally awesome.
I've been looking for a good free app for seasonal color analysis because sometimes it's inconvenient to bring one's fan around when shopping. This app works great, is pretty, and is easy to use! Edit: I liked the app so much I went ahead and bought it. This is the first app I've ever paid money for! Thanks! :)
Color quizzes online are more accurate. Cold, true winter colors still show up with warm bases. Very limited colors and tones displayed. Written descriptions are difficult to understand, e.g. "peppermint" can be a variety of different colors, tones, and shades.
Would be nice if I could add a picture and compare it with the colors suggested. Maybe even if the app analyzed your colours for you, based on the photo submitted. Overall, happy with the suggestion but it required some guessing on the questionnaire.
The best colour analysis app & resource, and most straightforward for getting some sort of an answer on your season that actually covers those with unusual criteria (eg. ashy mouse brown hair, warm/cool pale freckled skin, green/blue veins, hazel eyes, medium contrast). Fairly certain I'm soft Autumn but even the app needed convincing simply because of my hair colour! The palettes are nice, personally I'd love it if you'd consider adding the actual colour names as well as the RGB # codes? 🙏
Straightforward color analysis. Pretty accurate as other reviewers have said. Found out I was indeed a Cool Winter.
Worth the purchase imo. The quiz seems inaccurate at times, but a perfect pallet app and easy to use, especially if you already know your colour season. I just bought the main outfit pallet since i dont really wear make-up, but I'm considering getting the outfit+ business wear one later
In brief: Easy to use, priced fairly and user friendly. My wardrobe was a mix of suitable and unsuitable outfits that I could not quite put together well but this app had made it so much easier to look better and FEEL like I do too! The fact that you pay once for the pro-version's benefits is a cost that you get back 10 fold because - a) you don't buy things you won't wear but forget to get refunded b) you don't buy more than you need because you can use what you have to make multiple outfits!
Great app, finally helped me confirm whether I was a deep autumn or a deep winter with finality. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because it doesn't give you the color names for your palette. An update where the color names are on the cards, at least when you click on the individual colors, would be fantastic.
I'm a makeup, Beauty & Fashion ambassador. I love educating others as to what eyeshadow colors would do wonders for them, which to avoid & the same goes for other makeup products & fashion. I do make my own palettes & upload them to pinterest, with a description. So this app would be perfect! However I see nowhere to save the palette. And once you did the quiz, that's it for makeup. Too bad, as I have tons of ideas for you, to make this app the best!
many options of color. very precise on results. love it!
