Better alternative to some other apps that make sick people pay up. Still paywalled, though. Not a fan of taxing the sick, but at least this one has a free option. Needs a dark mode.
Rip off! Paid for a year of 100 scans per month and only received 10! App pop up offered 10 free if I added my email, whichI did...also didn't happen. Scanner is sub par. Really want my money back!
This is not an app specifically for the SIBO diet, and is just a low Fodmap planner. A somewhat misleading title as Fodmap is only part of the SIBO diet.
I paid for a subscription but the app does not give me access to unlimited barcode scans like it says it should
Scanner almost impossible to use.
Amazing! Exactly what I was looking for.
The camera is sideways for some reason which makes taking a photo of an ingredients list really hard. There's also not many food options at all. I wanted to record some fish and chip shop chips and that's not on there, neither is after dinner mints or hot chocolate. (I know that none of these are good for my stomach haha) ill still use the app in the meantime but already looking for something with mote options available. You can 'create' food options but you can't edit the ingredients in these..
This is an app for those with no alternative. Overall App presentation is of poor quality. Requires gram measurements for every food item added to a recorded meal EVEN if the food item is a liquid. Ingredients scanner has only 10 uses, and is incorrectly orientated. When searching for ingredients to add to a meal you've eaten you are forced to pick what's most likely to be correct instead of what you actually ate. There are ingredients with the exact same name but different FODMAP scales.
I am disappointed with this app. The barcode scanner is a nightmare, once you manage to get it to focus on the barcode and scan it, it asks you to send your email so you can unlock 10 barcodes, why when I have paid for 3 months? I realise that the app is designed to help identify intolerances, but some recipes and info on SIBO would be helpful.
This seems like a good guide but there a lot of inconsistencies with the food listed. For example lentils are both red and green. Same for pretzels. Seems like oversights are made, or there should be explanations of the classifications and maybe some sources cited.
It seems like an okay app except for the fact that the camera scanner is sideways and inverted, and you only get 10 scans even after paying for the app. The scanner is the biggest reason I wanted an app, so this definitely doesn't meet my needs.
