So here's my honest take on Silent Toggle Widget. I've tested a bunch of quick sound control apps and this one is definitely one of the better ones. The one-tap switching is super convenient and I like that it has a dedicated home screen widget for instant access. The design is clean and minimal, which I prefer over apps that try to cram in a ton of features. Now, it's not the most advanced sound control tool out there, but for most people it'll do the trick. And you can't beat the simplicity and speed. My only real gripe is the occasional DND permission issue, but the developer seems to be on top of that. Overall, if you want a dead-simple way to silence your phone, this is a pretty solid option.

Description

Been using Silent Toggle Widget for a couple months now. It’s basically a super simple app that lets you quickly switch your phone between normal, vibrate, and silent modes with just a tap. Pretty solid if you’re always forgetting to turn your ringer off.

Here’s what you do – there’s a big circular button on your home screen that you just tap to cycle through the sound modes. And it’s got a nice clean design and everything switches instantly, no delays. And there’s a little settings menu where you can customize some options like setting a default mode. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re like me and always forgetting to silence your phone, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the Do Not Disturb permissions can be a pain to set up. But overall it does the job and it’s free, so worth checking out.
