After downloading about 10 other "free" fax apps that ended up wanting to charge an arm and a leg for a subscription, or have a minimum payment of almost $10, I found this one. The first page is free, but 1. It gives you 15 free credits, and you can buy 15 credits for .99 I needed to send a total of 4 pages, and did so for 40 credits, totaling $2 with 5 credits left. Since I was looking for a free app, this was the next best thing :) my fax went through without having to pay an arm and a leg.

This has no subscription just credits which are cheap if you just need to send a few items. It will notify you when the image gets to their server and then when its sent and received by the recipient. Very easy to use. You can also watch ads for credits but my fax was a bit too large for that.
Works well enough. I don't understand no subscription fees that others are talking about. Every plan I see; Unlimited Receive or Charge Per Page, there is a charge for yearly, monthly, quarterly or half year payment, plus billed monthly. This definitely is "subscription like". If there is something that I'm missing, please let me know.
Easy! Thanx to the person who gave the tip about going into settings on the app to enter sender info 1st. After you take the pic, it looks dark, but it's not. When saved as a draft I could see how light the pic actually was. Default is 1 page. Choose batch if sending more than 1 page. Option @ bottom right. You need to register or sign in to claim your free credits. At the end you can add recipient info & tells you how many credits needed. Click the coins at top to buy more credits. Worthwhile!
According to the confirmation my fax went through and received verification within 2 minutes. So as long as there were no problems, i am very happy with this app and will use it in the future! I got 15 free credits which equals 1 page, so it cost nothing. Regular price is comparable to faxing it elsewhere, or less. All of the other apps i looked at wanted minimum of $10-$20 or annual memberships for $150.00 + !!! Give me a break!!!
Unlike other apps that charge a significant amount of money, or wait for you to upload everything under the impression its free..only to not be free. I appreciate the ability to earn credits fairly easily right after download (around 15 credits) and the fact the fax is based on credits that you can buy ever how much you need ranging from .99, 2.49, 4.99 so on... I sent 6 pages and it costed me $2.49. Which I think is a fair price. I like that you don't need to sign up for a "free trial".
To my surprise everything worked just how it said it would...and on the 1st try! My only complaint is when you sign up it gives you 15 credits to start and I just needed to send a 3 page fax. So when I clicked "send fax" it informed me that I didn't have enough credits. So as I read further it explained that I needed 30 credits for a 3 page fax because 1 page costs 10 credits. 3 pages = 30 credits. So I had to pay more. Why not just make 1 page 1 credit? It's purposely missleading!
I tried to send a 2-page fax multiple times without success. We never got a message saying that our attempts had failed. Instead, the "sending" animation just kept running, sometimes up to minutes before we restarted the process. We spent money on credits so the fax could be sent in a timely manner, and now feel like we've been scammed. This is very frustrating.
Simple, easy to use. I don't use a fax frequently enough to warrant what other apps cost for subscriptions. This is perfect! Edit: After a year of using this app, my 5-star rating stands. Simple to use, efficient, and perfect for people who sparingly have to fax. They also offer more robust packages for higher volume or if a dedicated fax number is needed.
This is the best fax app I've ever used!!! I like how you can edit the sizing and isolation of the image of the document and it even automatically recolors the document like a normal fax. This could easily be used for professional work. Also, the pricing is very straightforward, and they even reward you daily with a credit for simply checking into the app. Highly recommend!
I expected to try the app with a free first page. I took my picture thru the app and did the required sign up and log in. I only had one page to send, but the app said I didnt have the credits to do so, apparently, trying to include a cover letter and another page of some sort related to faxing by them, possibly a record of the information of recipient and my return info. It may be a fine program, but I think it is deceiving in this beginning, so I will uninstall.

You can get 15 credits free my fax needed 20 credits but was 2 pages the other 15 credits I purchased was $.99. not a problem not a hick-up . I'm so happy with this app. It's the only thing that has worked the way it was supposed to all day. Thank you.
I've tried a lot and this is the best! You can truly use this to send faxes for free! Its super easy to use, you can "check in" daily to earn & save credits just by clicking a button. If you need more credits fast, then you can keep watching 10 second adds to gain credits quick! It has worked for me every time!! Love it! Now i don't have to leave home and drive 45 min away to town and try to find a store to fax for me and pay them to do it!
The app works great! It does what it says it will do on a pay by use basis. I previously gave Simple Fax a 5-star review. However, there is a start button at the bottom of the screen with steps to set up an account. So I did. Then I get a notification from my bank that there was a charge of $39.95 on my card. It was a link to a streaming service. Not nice! I don't know if the folks at Simple Fax are aware of this, or if they set it up that way. Either way, lowers my score by 2 stars. Be ware!!!!
Super quick and easy to set up and use. The other apps required you to set up monthly recurring payments for free trial (16.99 mo!!!) and stated you must call to cancel. This app you just pay for what you need. Since most documents can now be sent over email this app is perfect for that random pain that requires documents be sent by fax.
This is the best phone fax app I have found. No BS, you can send one page for free without any credit card or any other stuff all the others demanded for the "free trial" come on that bills you if you forget to cancel. 10 credits per fax, 50 credits for $2.50, and you can get 15 credits for free at sign up time - enough for one page. All I needed at the time, so this very easy to use app was actually $0 for me today. I plan to use it whenever I need to fax off my phone. Highly recommended!
For a one-time user, this was perfect. The interface is intuitive and hassle free, I wasn't asked for any personal information, the option to purchase additional credits above the 15 free ones offered was easily accessible and allowed for as-needed purchase, rather than requiring an ongoing subscription. If you have the need to send faxed documents often, I would definitely recommend this app. Completely pain-free!
I have had many financial interactions lately. Each one requires faxing forms. I used this app, finally and was pleased with how easy it was. You get some credits for watching ads, but I only needed to fax one page this time. It was free and easy and I did it from home. The only hang-up was that I had a PDF and no printer. I just took a screenshot on the computer, stored in Google drive, downloaded to phone and I was able to select a pristine version!
I agree fully with what many others are saying here: if you don't need to fax often (and who does), this is THE app to use. No ridiculous subscription plans or contacts, and the credits are very reasonable and inexpensive. Saves me a ton of money by not having to buy a subscription. Ads are not too intrusive. My only minor complaint is that I wish there was a way to pay a one time fee to remove the (minimal) ads in the app.
I Rarely fax anything so I downloaded a few apps and it was just too costly for me to download those apps and with this app. I actually read the reviews! you get fifteen free credits So if you're sending one sheet, it's free but because I sent 5 pages, it cost a little more. But the total cost was $2.50. And I didn't have to leave the comfort of my home!! worth getting!! 5 stars.
