Been using the SimpliSafe Home Security app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your SimpliSafe security system from your phone. Pretty solid if you’ve got one of those systems set up at home.
Here’s what you can do: you can arm and disarm the system, get instant notifications, and even watch live video if you’ve got cameras. There’s also a timeline feature that keeps track of everything. Took me a little while to figure out all the different settings, but it’s pretty user-friendly overall.
Look, if you’re big on home security and want an easy way to manage it all from your phone, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the live video can be a bit laggy sometimes – but it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a SimpliSafe user.

So here's my take on the SimpliSafe Home Security app. I've tried out a bunch of different home security apps and this one stacks up pretty well. The interface is clean and intuitive, and it's super convenient to be able to control everything from my phone. The timeline feature is really handy for keeping tabs on what's going on at home. That said, the live video quality could be better, and I've found the system can be a bit slow to respond at times. But overall, it's a solid app that gets the job done if you're a SimpliSafe customer.

The app is pretty good, it does what it's supposed to do. It's nice to have the ability to arm/disarm the system remotely as well as to check the cameras....
do not get simplisafe. the cameras are horrible for the price. they have connection problems, they are slow, when you change settings they don't always save. if they do save,...
Update.....it's gotten better. App never opens on second phone, always states an error has occurred. Only one phone is able to access the app the other phone has to get...
