Unable to log into the app. After first sett up. Won't let me sign in tells me my password is wrong (it is not). Attempts to reset password fail, fail to connect to simrad network notification. Not happy I can't use the app after switching my whole boat to Simrad. On top of all this my hs60 decided to just stop working. Tech support never responds to email and makes you wait hours on the phone even when you're #2 in the Q.

In Alaska we have 9" 3in1 it is blast for fishing in Kenai River Great sideview for salmon Also for rockfish hiding in kelp beds around Homer Seward, it has amazing downview terrain for halibut hiding deep holes.

Fairly user-friendly but does have some bugs. Overall, it's definitely useful

Don't waste your time. It connects one to register the device and forevermore won't connect again. Top job SIMRAD. Why even bother offering the features if they can't be used? I have two units in seperate boats and like to sync my tracks and marks etc between the two. Can do it automatically, have to back up and restore after each trip. I knew is hould have stuck with Raymarine! Everything worked!

This app has never worked properly for the last 3 years.. and now its dangerous with the latest 2025 update it deletes the old wavepoints from the head unit dusing synchonising.. almost lost 20 years of data if I did nt had done a backup.. Simrad need to get their act together and stop releasing apps that are not tested with also links on the app that are not connecting as well.

Very confusing. I subscribed to the app in order to get better maps for my new go9xsr. So far I can see no way of getting these maps into the device. When I connect to the device hotspot I lose Internet connectivity on my phone so I tried making my phone a hktspot and making the go9 connect to it. It connects but there is no ability to control the go9 this way - at meant as far as I can see. Very disappointed. It should be much more user friendly.

Very frustrating and not user friendly as it should be. Downloaded app to set up brand new unit on new boat. App was down for over a week for 'updates'. Finally able to log into app and it won't connect - have to connect manually, then it constantly crashes. Was able to mirror for 1.5 seconds. Terrible.

Trash app won't upload zero .gpx files. Constantly crashes extremely long load times. Don't waste money on subscription.

Good app, useful functions. great connectivity with Simrad plotter on the boat. BUT unreliable autorouting, it often routes over land or outside of waterways i.e. from Izola to Grado City Harbour or to Lignano Sabiadore just as examples.

Last summer I used it and it all worked well. Just starting to do my planning for this summer and I try to do a new route, can put in start and end point, press create route and the app freezes. it isnt a complicated route either, pretty much straight line 20nm. Very disappointed. I may need to go back to Navionics and use that but it will be a pain as I will then need to export to get it into my simrad chartplotter. I notice that Simrad haven't replied to the negative reviews recently??

The Android version of the app constantly crashes. I have tried it now on 3 different devices and they all have the same problems. Click anywhere on the map to bring up a way point, then click the x to close that way point and the entire app crashes. I'm paying for premium and it is useless. Simrad makes great sounders but this app is broken, I don't know why they can't seem to fix it. I waited over a year before posting hoping that it was just a glitch in that version but nothing has changed.

2 stars for the features, a lot here to use. -3 stars for the lack of optimization and stability. Navico, pay your software engineers better and get this app working more efficiently. I'd be ashamed if my app were this buggy and slow to respond. I'm on a flagship Samsung phone, so this app should perform flawlessly. I use Garmins app as a backup while on my boat because your app is completely unreliable. I'm close to ending by subscription and I have a huge Simrad Electronics suite on my boat.

This app is garbage. All of my GPX Files that I saved from my old boats Garmin unit will not open in this app. The app says it imported them, but they are freaking not listed under waypoints. It used to work, WTH did you do this app CMap? Edit: for other users. I had to remove style settings for each waypoint and reduce the number of waypoints in each file to 100 or less. All of my waypoints are in Home port, I have over 20,000 spots. this is a major PITA please fix this app devs!

I pay for this and its horrible. I have a simrad and my phone. Making waypoints it duplicates them soany times. As soon as your able to delete a duplicate it pops up 3 more times and becomes unable to delete. When not at my boat i try planning routes with location off. The app is totally unusable. With location on it refuses to plan a route. It will show it in gray but you cant save it. To share it with the simrad device. Gawd awful.

I can't preview the app without creating an account or logging into Facebook. I boat on an inland lake where the biggest navigation issue is finding which cove to turn into for a particular lakefront business. I'd like to see if this app can handle navigation like that. Other apps require me to plot a point-by-point course. That's probably fine for open-water navigation but complete impractical on a lake that twists and turns and has many coves.

Downloaded the app to check it out. It was slow and lacked the detail and resolution I get with the Navionics app. I thought maybe I needed a paid version so I signed up for the free trial. After a few minutes of playing with it I had no doubt I didn't want it. I was charged for the app even though it was supposed to be a free trial. Emailed the developer and got no response. Poor app and poor communication.

The check out nearby never updates with photos or information. Will not remote control my Simrad Go7 XSE. The banner is always at the bottom taking up limited screen real estate while navigating. The show satellite on land only doesn't work. Should be able to turn off nearby items if it's not important, use the old Simrad Go app if the new one doesn't work yet and hide the bottom banner. All easy fixes. Until these are fixed, I will continue to use Navionics. S22 Ultra. Permissions allowed.

*#$%!!XX**@### I wasn't able to get the subscription payment set up in Google play store. Tried to use the app during the free trial period, but the chart is not for me. Having zero experience reading nautical charts (I am extremely familiar with aeronautical navigational charts) it just never clicked. Disappointed with myself and with this app.

I have a GO7 XSR and the Simrad app on my phones. I enabled the hotspot on the Go7 and can successfully connect to the chart plotter. However, syncing routes and waypoints always fails - frustrating! I can see a message on the chart plotter that says: syncing the device, but then a message comes up: synchronization failed without giving a reason. Also, changing existing routes is not possible. And there is no way to see currents - or it's so hidden I can't find it. UNINSTALLED and UNSUBSCRIBED

The SIMRAD Companion app keeps minimizing every few seconds and is not usable. It seems to crash and restart after that. Please fix it. This is happening on a new Android Phone. SIMRAD Tech support was no help at all. The Provide Feedback function in the app, resulted in "an error occurred" when attempting to submit the feedback. All very disappointing.
