I've been using this app for several years. It has a very nice progression from beginner to advanced. I can pick up where I left off or if I've slacked for a while I can reset and start over. If I am unsure on how to do an exercise I can choose to watch a video which links to a real person performing the exercise. I do wish they offered other training options like videos, just stretching, or challenges to make it more entertaining
Reviews for Six Pack in 30 Days
← Back to Six Pack in 30 DaysAwesome home workouts. I'd give it 5 stars, but not all of their exercises target muscles, some are more for stretching. I stretch before working out, so some of the exercises could be replaced with more intense ones, however, this app teaches you so many exercises that you could make your own set of exercises from what you've learned.
Great thus far, I use it, my nephew and a few others I know. The app works great, very easy to follow and easy to adapt. I like the option of skipping through the rest points or even an exercise if its too difficult. Of course you can't literally get a 6 pack in 30 days but it will definitely start to show. Just keep using the app and depending on your starting point, within 60 days you'll definitely see results; either smaller waist/less belly fat or see major muscles poking their way through.
This app is great. I'd recommend this and other exercising apps from this same company. It's the best workout partner that's free👍. The adds don't interrupt the exercises and aren't frequent. And after the first day you start with this app, it sets a time to remind you to start the next day (which is handy). You can change the notification to any time that best fits your schedule. You can really feel the difference💪😎 when you start.
I'm pretty athletic, but you know, Covid-19 messed up a lot of athletes. Anyways, I've wanted to try this app for awhile, but I just never got around to it. But after around 15 days on the advanced level, I feel stronger. I'm not sure if my abdominals are visually changing, but I'm not done with the 30 days yet, and will likely do the program again with less rest days. Overall a great app, easy to follow, and really encouraging!
At first I though this would be an ad filled junk workout app that wanted to make money more than help beginners with weight and midsection problems. This app gets you going and has a "Siri-esque" voice coach to help you during each workout. Each set is no longer than 30 seconds and when I finish each day I feel like I can do more. Within the first week I have lost 2 pounds along with dieting. This has helped by increasing heart rate and focusing exercises on midsection. Great job and thank you!
I wasn't expecting much from this app, but I needed a workout plan and a constant reminder to work out. So I downloaded the app. I am happy to say, this app is honestly AWESOME. It sends u a notification every day and the workouts are simple, well explained, and encouraging. I have seen a lot of progress and I have abs despite being only 2 months in. The one thing though is that you aren't going to actually get abs unless you also change your daily excercise and eating habits. Awesome nonetheles
I've started and stopped on this plan a couple times when the app was still new. I came back to it a couple months ago just to have a tangible plan for keeping in shape and the new features like telling it if a workout was too easy or too hard so it scales to your level makes it so much better. I'm almost at the end of the intermediate course, and while I don't have a chiseled six pack I do have pretty clearly defined abs and almost no gut, which is a huge improvement from where I started.
Quick, easy and convenient. I havent used this app for a while but when I was in better shape it was the best mini core workout that I could do anywhere. Now I am finally back to focusing on my health after having children and what was once a finisher is now far more challenging. The app is free and will give you a nice little core workout with a breakdown of each workout. I cannot say anything bad about. I recommend it to friends all the time that want to get in better shape before summer!
Was looking for a simple ab-focused workout to supplement my regular training and thought I would try this one. As of day 10 I am VERY impressed. The workout is quick (10 min or so), very intense (but does not require American Ninja level athletic ability), and thus far has been very effective. I would not recommend it for your "be all end all" / this be your only workout but as a supplement to running and weight training it's hard to imagine something better. Looking forward to seeing effects!
Tried it for day 1. I can appreciate that there are stretching exercises in place of pause. This strategy, as much as I can tell, seems to allow for increased results while still allowing the body to rest. I know myself well enough to know that if there was a pause button, I more likely will not continue the remainder of my regiment! Very smart!!
I really like this app. The intensity is just right if you stay consistent. I have only tried level one. It start off easy then gets harder at the end. I really like the repeat of exercises and alway ends with stretching. I wanted to try this out even though, I know I'm not a man. I'm really happy I did and this is my favorite exercise app! Thank you!
Great progression. Starts easy and asks at the end of the workout how it was so it can taylor your next workout for you. Quick workout, so it's easy to fit into a busy schedule. No extra equipment needed. Good variety, so I'm not doing the same boring thing everyday. So far, I've been motivated to stay with it. Ads are minimal and at beginning or end and aren't disruptive or annoying. I'm downloading another app by the same developer because I like this one so much. Nice job!
Over all seems like a good app. The workouts are built to start easy and slowly build you up, but there are different levels so you can start harder, if you want. My biggest complaint is the reminders don't seem to work correctly. If I miss 1 workout, I don't receive any more notifications, even though I have it setup to remind me everyday.
I hate reviewing stuff. It just isn't my thing, however this app is amazing. It is free so commercials/ads come with it, but they aren't overbearing. Moreover, they proceed at the end of the workout! Also, if you want more you tell the program to challenge you more and it does at a fair increment instead of 100%. Thus, it supplies a little more for you, which you feel, instead forcing you to take back the gain you want because it was too much of an increase. This is perfect!
Good for people with limited time. I wanted an exercise routine that I can actually stick with which means needed to be doable within a short amount of time (I can do the program within 15-20 minutes/day), be customizable (app differentiates between beginner, intermediate and advanced and gives the option to adjust within that too--great), and well explained to get the right effect and prevent injury (apps has well-made short videos for each exercise). Good value overall.
I am pleasantly surprised to see how well this works. Only been about a week and I can tell the difference. I know if I commit to this, I will see my six pack again. And if anyone is concerned about ads or some kind of hidden cost, don't be. Ads can be skipped instantly when they do come up. Otherwise, the only ads are during the workout in banners during the 30 second breaks. Not even video ads. I don't hand out five stars like candy. I will edit this later on with a hopefully better result.
I'm only on my third week but already love the way this app walks me through the steps, including rest periods, and introduces new exercises. At 57 years old I've found out that walking more and eating less doesn't get rid of my "love handles". I need the regiment this app provides. Using the alarm setting really helps keep me on track. I already see progress. And, progress is progress no matter how small.
Day 5, and wow! I chose to go the expert route and do the hardest workout because I was a bodybuilder many years ago and figured I should start at an expert level. let me tell you something it is certainly working and it is not easy. at least not for me when I'm coming back after all these years. And after only 5 days I already see some results which is amazing. I feel amazing and I actually look forward to doing these workouts. App is absolutely wonderful to point you in the right to direction.
I'm halfway through my first 30 days. mildly surprised that I've mostly stuck with it and have found the diverse exercises very useful. I've tended to have decent abdominal health but never truly 'in shape.' This app has helped. First, they scale up in difficulty as you begin the exercises. Your standard workout is 10-15 minutes with breaks. At the end I was surprised, I felt the workout but wasn't exhausted. I survived skipping a few days during the holidays and the app reminded me. Helpful.
