Update: Now I can't stream other people's live stream without this error message" An error occured while trying to join". The problem I am having is responding to messages, then having to refresh the inbox only to see my responses aren't updated. In other words, my messages aren't sending to the recipient.
All of sudden, I cannot login to my account. When I tried to login earlier, it would always freeze and refresh, never letting me into the app. Finally, after attempting for two day, I got in. I chose to log out at the end of my session, and now I as I try to log back in with my email, it tells me I have an error, cannot login, OR it thinks I'm signing up for a new account! Of course I can't sign up for a new account with the same email I'm trying to log in with, so now I'm stuck. Good job.
WORRIED ABOUT MY PRIVACY!!!!! Wasn't satisfied with the app so I tried to delete it, wasn't able to because of some issues with my email so I just deleted my photos from the app & log off. Just happen to log back on today & my pictures were REUPLOADED without my permission! They literally make it impossible for you to delete your account I will be taking legal actions!! This is NOT a contract why does signing up take 30 seconds, but deleting the app is a whole strenuous process?
The forced update was not worth it. The filter doesn't work/doesn't work properly. I constantly have to verify my profile. The same profiles show up in the same order on "Near Me" even if I change the distance, ethnicity, age, etc. Only one picture is viewable in a person's profile and that's the profile picture. Garbage.
Love the app but it logged me out after having it a day and now I only get error messages when I try to log in. I've tried to create a new account with different log ins, even tried on the computer. Nothing. I made some friends to help during a tough time and now I can't contact them. It sucks. I contacted customer support. Haven't heard back.
I don't know what's going on with the app. It's been almost a month since I've been on Live. I can't even be on live with my house wifi anymore. I have to be on my phone data to be on it. Its terrible now. I might delete my account and go to Meetme instead. Someone needs to fix the problems with the apps. Especially I've been getting messages from spammers.
The app will no longer allow me to sign in.. it started as a minor inconvenience, having to wait a long loading screen, to an infinite one.. uninstalling and reinstalling honestly wasn't that big of a deal.. but now I can't even login because the database fails to read my information. I'm honestly not very invested in dating apps, so I was expecting to be surprised that anything worked in the end.. and alas, it did not. It's definitely not a terrible app.. be brave and ask someone out instead.
I got blocked right after signing up. The app kept on refreshing and showing the splash screen (showing the Skout logo) but would not let me do anything else. As an app developer myself, I recognize the urgency in finding and fixing these bugs. Instead of waiting for users to send an email to your support, debug the app by trying the sign-up process yourselves. You'll see what many people are talking about. Also, please fix those account-blocking issues as well (including mine).
Update: Idk what they did to the app but I hate it now🙄 I don't even like to use it every time I clear my wedges and close out the app I have to log in again. it's a app😤 you shouldn't have to log in every time you use it!!!! I don't like that it automatically chooses your location doesn't matter if it's correct or not and then it has to be approved for it to be changed... U can't really post statuses you can just look at other people's accounts like and match with people or go live
Nice update that breaks everything and nothing works, can't log in, none of your emails will work but old account still is there. App looks like a clone of every other one now, along with the app stripping all connecting with people from around the world, forcing more boring swiping which was more optional in the original. Another great thing is now it shows accounts that haven't been online it years! And no way to see who is online anymore. Bring back the old version.
