Sling's apps all such. The mobile one is no different. The app continually freezes when cutting to commercials, and causes me to have to force stop it on my Android device. On my computer, commercials will cut off parts of the show, and even other commercials. I am a software developer, and there is no excuse whatsoever for how crappy Sling's apps are. Don't pay for this service, at least until they can figure out how to deliver the service they are charging you for.

I signed up for sling through Roku, but the Roku app shows no sign of my account. I try to go to the sling account who says my address isn't right. You get what you pay for, I guess by getting cheap TV I have to be subject to zero customer service, just robots, confusion, incorrect information. But boy sling can always charge my card!!! Never a problem there. When I finally figured out how to put this on pause, I may just cancel and not come back this is a nightmare.

Worked fine for a month. Now it works half the time at best. It either has an error message at the start, or it plays for a minute and says the stream is unauthorized, or it just crashes. There is no way to get help for it. If you can contact the support, they just run you in circles until you give up. My opinion, it's not worth the cost. I can not watch tv for free. Sling is charging me not to watch tv. I'm going back to cable. Sling sucks.

Terrible. Upon opening the app and selecting the "Free Stream" option on the opening page, the app goes into terminal loading lock where you can't do anything at all. I refuse to give up my cc# info and pay for a service that is advertised as a "free" streaming service. I really should have read other reviews first and I would not have bothered downloading this waste of my time and space on my phone. Deleting it now. I'll be spending my viewing time on applications that work as advertised.

Although Sling is a great value, this is probably one on the worst mobile streaming apps I've ever used. When device powers down and resumes, video does not start up again. You have to go back to the guide and relaunch the channel. When the player is windowed, the device does not stay awake. You can't just listen to audio in the background. All of these features are expected for a modern streaming app and are missing.

The app is great for sports events, but it gets incredibly spotty if the event runs a little long. Watching an NBA game tonight (casted to my Google TV), the game ran from 7:30 to a little after 10:00. Right at 10:00, the stream began constantly disconnecting. Every 2-3 minutes, I would have to stop casting and recast it. This has happened with every game I have tried to watch.

I've never had so many issues with a streaming service. It's not worth the price. When I open the app, it immediately closes or crashes. It constantly stops playing all together, it keeps giving me errors trying to set DVR schedules and then doesn't show anything that was recorded. I've un-installed, cleared cache, and every other thing, short of just canceling. I paid for this to get Oxygen and I can't watch it! Back to Philo where it's cheap but literally works like a dream.

I don't usually make reviews but these streaming apps have become so greedy. I understand its a business, but there's a line. I started paying for Sling to watch Playoff hockey which I love. I wanted to watch one game on my TV and the other overlapping game(s) on my phone... and to find out i can only stream from one device at a time. 1... ONE!!! lol I can't help but laugh and be frustrated at the same time. I'm spending $45a month for a service that gives me the bare minimum. Unreal

Keeps shutting down. Sometimes, we have to restart three or four times for it to stay on. Only happening sling, not happening with other streaming services. Changed to Sling for the cost difference but due to poor service and rising cost of streaming, it may be time to go back to cable. Also, seems like we are fewer channels.

Promotions are total scams! I've been advised twice now from legit emails that I have earned spins in their promotions, only to open the app well within the allotted time, so I can spend an hour looking for this non-existent wheel to spin. It's so frustrating that I'm about to spend the next few hours looking at different streaming options. Oh, I also just found out that you can no longer reach Sling TV by phone. But good luck trying to even get info through their chat bot. That's the worst.
