Reviews for Smart Alarm (Alarm Clock)

All previous issues apparently were fixed over time and I doubt most people come back to fix their reviews. Current dilemma is with a new s25 Ultra. The shortcut doesn't show the next time. Just sent dev an email, so we'll see what happens.

Powerful, yet confusing, I love this app for repeating alarms and the customization it offers, but trying to configure alarms on specific dates in the future is immensely confusing, it's not very intuitive on how to accomplish this. There's no manual or explaination on how to do anything inside the app, and the developers website has zero information (even opens to a different domain, "smartsense", that hasn't had any noticeable changes made to it since 2014)

Lots of useful functions. Suggestions: 1. Make it clearer that needing to unlock your phone to silence an alarm is a free version limitation that goes away with paid version. 2. Tapping the alarm icon to toggle an alarm on/off could instead cycle through on/skip-next/off because making it easier to skip a reminder for something you already did would be helpful.

I've tried several alarm apps. I have been using the free app for years and just upgraded to the paid version. I didn't upgrade for better features or less adds, I did it because it costs next to nothing, and shows support. This one is far better than other apps I have experienced. It is very customizable to each users needs. They continually add options that make it even better. Unlike some apps, the updates usually present you with options instead of forcing you to change to a new way when you may have liked the old way better. If you like the app, buy it. I believe this will encourage them to continue taking care of it.

I wish it were available for iOS because my iPad does not have Smart Alarm’s “Skip next alarm” feature, very important if you wake up before a repeating alarm. When I did not know where to find this feature the dev told me in an instant. I got it initially because the alarm volume is independent of system volume. I can also set the volume to increase slowly so I don’t wake up my wife. It has lots of functionality. Please make a version for our iPads/iPhones.

If you are going to use this, make sure you are making regular backups! Most recent update bricked this app on multiple devices (Nougat and Oreo), and it has been having lots of issues that started after the last couple of updates (alarms not working, crashing). After the most recent update, I had to clear all data to get the app to even load and the instant I restored from any of my backups it was back to crashing, had to clear all data again to be able to open it. I discovered I had to uninstall, reboot and reinstall to get my backups to restore without crashing the app and now assigned alarm music is all messed up. Regret paying for this app now, as developer doesn't respond to email or provide direct support of any kind and seems to only be making things worse with updates. This *WAS* the best alarm app on the store, but it's rapidly going downhill and at this point badly needs a UI overhaul too.

This app works extremely well. What I'd love to see is some sort of group schedule option. I have alarms set to remind me each day when it is time to walk out to the bus stop for each kid, and it is set to run every day of the week, but not the weekends. I have 6 alarms total, and any day that the kids have off school I have to go in and "Skip next alarm" for all of them. It would be nice to group them all together and skip them all at once.

99.9% success rate waking up for close to a decade now. Every other app I've tried has frozen or failed. This app has worked on every phone I've had, with the right settings it has come out of accidental silent mode, sounded in headphones and the phone, gotten out of accidental DND mode, everything! About a decade or so ago, I used to take alarm clocks apart in my sleep and stay sleeping. This app has consistently worked and woke me up with zero issues. Tyvm for such an awesome app!

I've been using Alarm Clock Plus for years, and its been the best, But, after an update to my phone, it only works when charging. So searching for something as good took a while and finally found Smart Alarm no ads to be Very similar with all the options, and more,.. and it's working Great. I did find it a bit confusing with the way the instructions are worded with option settings and took a while testing by trial and error. Bottom line IMO, it's a Great app and recommend it 👌 👍

Hands down THE best multiple alarm I have found. Been using the free version for years, and wanted to create more alarms so purchased the app. Great value and worthwile purchase. I tried a lot of other alarm apps before, but always came back to this app. Very nice display, easy to use and customize. Keeps me on track. Highly recommend it.

I love all the customization. I especially love how the snooze time is counted from originally-set alarm time (vs when snooze was hit) - rare among alarm clock apps out there, though it really should be the way. I've been using the free version for years, and finally decided to chip in the well-deserved $ to support. To upgrade, you need to back up from old, and restore it on new, then uninstall old manually (no automatic replacing).

This app has what I'm looking for in an alarm. However, I would recommend 2 improvements. The snooze button has a time drop down and has everything from 5 minutes to 12 hours. It should also have a 24 hour snooze. Because I use the app for general reminders, it comes up a lot When creating a new alarm it always starts with the time that you'd like it to go off. I'd like to have a toggle so that you can just start it on that page as I always start with the date when inputting an appointment.

LOVE this app. used it for years & recommend it a lot...but i need help. my alarm with snooze/dismiss options used to show even on the lock screen. i seem to remember something in settings that i had to play with. i just got a new phone 2 weeks ago & have tried everything to no avail; no display setting, no app setting, nothing seems to work. so now, if my lock screen is on, as it usually is, when an alarm goes off, it sounds & vibrates but i have to tap the screen to see it. please help!

Pros: Does everything I want it to do. Despite the complicated UI, it's easy to make a basic alarm. There are options for repeating alarms including day of week, specific dates, and more. There are options for different snooze and stop alarm rules. Cons: Menus are way too complicated. Most items should be hidden by default. Some options are totally unnecessary, like having 3 different ways to set the time. Some minor typos, like "Widget fort size" and "Snooze buttom settings"

I have used this app for quite a while. Just never got around to writing a review. Formerly I was using another good alarm app; but it was sold to another company, which did little to improve it. I discovered Smart Alarm, installed it, and fell in love. Well not really. But Smart Alarm has every feature that I had asked the maintainers of my previous app to add - plus some. I have not found a more versatile alarm app anywhere; and it is consistently stable. I recommend it to anyone.

I've tried lost of alarms. Default phone. Free and easy. Droid alarm. This is the best choice. I love the multiple settings. I enjoy having the custom repeat selection so I never have to check to make sure it is set. It also helps to have a back up to me hitting snooze. I can make myself solve a problem or just enter numbers to confirm I'm awake and not tapping dismiss half asleep.

I loved this alarm, used it for years through many phones. After an update in October the alarms wouldn't work right. Sometimes they would go off and snooze wouldn't work right, or they wouldn't go off at all. I emailed the developer and got no reply. Unfortunately after being late for work, the kids missing the bus or the alarm not going off at RANDOM times, I will be uninstalling this app. I've tried reinstalling it, rebooting it, nothing works and I can't afford to use something unreliable.

I've used this app reliably for years, but the past few days, the alarm its lf has stopped working. The timer is ok, but not the alarm. UPDATE: I heard from the developer, and this appears to be a system issue. I hope Google gets this resolved. as the developer noted, my phone has been losing batter rapidly and overheating--,problems I hadn't had before

It opens full screen so I can still see the screen from across the room with a low volume alarm. It has multiple alarms and timers which was the reason I downloaded it. And technically it does but it only has two timers. And those two can't be widgeted separately only together. If this was multiple timers (many as you wanted) it would be the greatest otherwise, I still have to have another app for multiple timers. But... The alarm date/time settings are CRAZY GOOD!

I don't know if TanyuSoft reads these, but... This is a great app. Best alarm app out there, IMO. It is missing one feature, however... The ability to hide inactive alarms. I take advantage of the groups pretty heavily. Some days, I'll have more than one group toggled. This means, though, that I'll see inactive and active alarms. It'd be awesome to also be able to hide inactive alarms, so only active ones are visible.
