Reviews for Smart Labels

I really REALLY want to love this app. The concept is genius. But I've installed and installed the app multiple times and it just doesn't work. Got far enough on one to take a picture but now can't even get signed in. Gonna have to resort to index cards I think.

Deceptive, flat out false advertising. They sell you 48 labels while advertising unlimited label use, then when you start adding them you find out you only get 12 labels in the app, unless you pay $15 a year for as long as you want to use the labels. NOPE. Returned your labels, deleting your app, and reporting you to the AG office for false advertising.

Great concept, but I spent alot of time taking photos and entering items into all my boxes and packing them up, only to find out for some reason 90% of all the items in the boxes deleted. I tried again with a few and got the same result.. ☹️

This has been one of the most useful apps for organizing and storing away household and office items. It is extremely easy to use. Simply scan a label to know the contents of the box or find an item that's stored away inside one of the 100 boxes - this app is a lifesaver!

Absolutely obsessed with this!! Love the details you can provide and how helpfully it is when you need to find items or a specific container, you can log where and what the container of items looks like and add items individually & or make a general description of what is inside your box or tote. My husband and I LOVE THIS app and it's labels sooo much! 10/10 HIGHLY Recomend.

If you are organize OCD, these are a must. You also have an option to reprint labels. I'd actually have paid extra if you could order these with duplicates already included.

Disappointed. All I wanted is a simple application where I can make a picture of contents and attach barcode or location. Whole idea of search will be browsing by simple finger swip pictures with contents. NOT IMPLREMENTED. Instead it proposes me to type on keyboard each item in the box for future text search. If I want it, I will use Excel. Cumbersome, unlogic and complicated interface. I wish I knew it before, but I tried, you cannot see this until you buy labels.

What an amazing organizational system. now, I know where every single piece of winter clothing I have is what it's stored in and where it's located. super simple to use includes pictures and of details.

This is a brilliant concept. It works well but read the small print. You buy the labels but can only use a few before having the dreaded "pay me to use me" pops up and then the app can't be used. Now stuck with a lot of labels I can't use and they are not cheap. I was led to believe that buying the labels themselves was was the payment.

just got them but so far so good. very easy to use in the app. looks like the best way to organize what's in my storage containers!

Started with high hopes after receiving the QR labels from Amazon. Created the account in the app, tested a label, logged out and now I can't log back in. It says either no password is set, or password is incorrect. Clicking on password reset does nothing. No other menu options, no technical support. We will be returning the labels and using a different vendor.

I was so excited with this, but the app keeps crashing and completely closing the app after a few seconds of using it. It looks like if I do nothing at all when it first open it's good, but as soon as I start adding items or looking at the list of items, etc, anything, it will crash. I reinstalled once and same issue. 😞

The app was a really great idea and was a lifesaver when I cleaned out my office. however, when I downloaded it and bought the labels, I was able to create all of my labels, take pictures, view labels, everything. it was great. I just logged in to find something and now I can't do anything without paying them a yearly fee. I downloaded ToteScan that is completely free to use and costs the same for 45 labels as these guys charge you a year. Don't get extorted by these people.

Great app for the phone. It would get a higher rating if (1) I could also download the app on my laptop so I have the SmartLabels on both my phone and my laptop; and (2) if I could upload more than 1 photo per item or more than 1 photo of the box/bag in which the items are stored. When I move around a lot, I need to be able to show multiple views of my items to show their condition in the event my item(s) or box(es) are damaged by movers.

The app tends to freeze up after 10 to 15 minutes of continuous use. I'm finding this is pretty consistent now that I've been using the app for a solid week and a half cataloging before a move . There's a frustrating omission in the UI where you can't sort by the number associated with the QR code. This means if you tell somebody to go find X box You have to actually go through every single item until you find the number you're looking for. A simple numerical sort would solve that.

Only needed this app to move. Very disappointed that it worked for free for one sticker pack. When I purchased a second pack of stickers, it would NOT let me track those until I paid almost $30 more for the app, with an annual renewal that you have to cancel if you no longer need it. Otherwise it will bill you the almost $30 yearly. In my opinion, they should make the stickers more expensive and make the app free. It felt a lot like a shakedown to me. Great concept, but I would not recommend.

the app looks really nice, but the app functionally sucks. nothing ever wants to load. it won't let me add pictures for different items. to add anything to a box I have to add it, let the circle of death run for a bit, close out the app, reopen the app and hope it actually went through. I've been trying for over an hour and I've only gotten 3 things added to a box. I'm still going to use it, but it does suck. I really hope they work out the kinks because it's such a good concept.

Great concept that still falls a little short. When we look into a box and there are pictures of items, only some of the items have the pictures displayed that we uploaded. If we click on an item, the picture is cropped at the top and bottom, which makes identification difficult in some cases (stuffed animals have the head and feet cropped off). When we click back to the box, the item we were viewing shows up with a picture, but now one other picture is missing. Every picture behaves this way

I just got these labels and have been cataloging items to put into storage. My experience has been wonderful and problem free. The app is super fast for me, intuitive, and easy to work with. I also downloaded it on my iPhone to see how the syncing would be across platforms, and it works perfectly. I was able to continue where I left off while charging the other phone. One wish list item would be the ability to export this info into an Excel or CSV file. That would be huge, if possible! 🙏

I bought the labels in 2023 for moving. there was no mention of once you catalog your stuff that you have to pay to access it. I discovered the required payment plans when opening the app to see if I had catalogued something already before I move again, only to find out I cannot open ANYTHING I've scanned in. No email about it, no notice via the app that this was changing (granted I haven't opened the app in a while), no free plan option. it's bullhonkey. 🫩 oh, and the app freezes a lot.
