So here's my honest take on Smart Tools. I've tested a bunch of utility apps and this one is pretty darn comprehensive. It's got a ton of features packed in, from the basic stuff like a ruler and flashlight to more advanced tools like a sound meter and metal detector. And the quality is pretty solid across the board. My only gripe is that some of the advanced features can be tricky to figure out at first. But once you get the hang of it, it's a really handy app to have around.

Pros

  • Tons of different tools and utilities in one app
  • All the basics covered plus some more advanced features
  • Works well and is easy to use once you get the hang of it
  • Free to download with optional paid version

Cons

  • Some of the more complex tools take a bit of time to learn
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay for the pro version
  • Might be overkill if you only need a couple specific tools

Description

I’ve been using Smart Tools for a couple months now. It’s basically a suite of different tools and utilities all packed into one app. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a ruler, a distance/height measurer, a compass, a sound meter, a flashlight, and even a unit converter. It’s got a ton of features and they all work pretty well. Took me a while to figure out some of the more advanced stuff, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super useful.

Look, if you’re the kind of person who’s always needing to measure things or convert units or use a compass, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
