The one and only reason I purchased this ring was for the blood pressure monitor. All information said it was on the ring, on the app, pictures showed the icon on the main screen. NOTHING! Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times with the same results. Garbage.. going right back to Amazon...
Reviews for SmartHealth
← Back to SmartHealthThere is something seriously wrong with the app. I can't even get registered because it's not going past the weight and height. it just stop and doesn't go back nor forward. I've uninstalled it and downloaded it again and the same exact thing. Nothing
Got a ring to track my sleep and this is the app it said to download. The battery meter doesn't update unless I restart my phone. it thinks I'm sleeping unless I'm physically moving. if I'm sitting watching a movie it says I'm sleeping. when I get up to get a drink I'm "awake" for a minute. the times I'm actually asleep just a blank screen. beyond worthless.
pretty good for using a ring....my only issue is that I cannot figure out how to reset the sleep schedule. I can change the target hours, but because I had set a sleep schedule initially the ring I use and the app do not track any sleep outside of those hours.
I love the ring. It keeps track of my BP, O2 sats, pulse, sleep quality and amount of time I slept, as well as steps taken. However, I have no idea if the ring's firmware is up to date or how to update it. I have no idea how to contact customer service. I also find the app a bit confusing because the verbiage makes no sense. Is there a website associated with the ring?
I'm pretty satisfied... it worked right out of the box... mostly. the step count is hit or miss (compared to SS Heslth app) but accurately for the most part! the sleep monitor is pretty cool. if I get up to got to thr bathroom. it accurately records my awake time. The BP measurements are consistently on the low side (possibly due to a circulation issue with my finger... don't know. ----- setup was a bit clugy, and I didn't find through all the steps for privacy reasons. I'm in as Visitor #1.
Just got my ring and the instructions say to use this app but when I get to the part where you put your height and weight in it let's me slide the scale the the correct inches but doesn't give an option for putting in your weight and won't continue so I can't even connect this ring up. Fix the bugs.
You can adjust how the app categorizes blood pressure readings into low, normal or high by tapping the Settings icon on the lower right corner of the app’s main page, then your photo at the top of the next page and finally BP. If you change a setting, be sure to tap Confirm, then Save and refresh the app. On the E66, the weather screen is supposed to appear after the Sleep screen. If it doesn’t, turn on GPS/location on your phone and in Settings on your phone (not app), be sure that the app has permission to access GPS/location when the app is active. The same weather info will appear in the app when you tap the Activity icon at the bottom of the app’s main page. It will show your current location, weather and air temperature as well as the forecast low and high air temperatures. According to the specially printed card that came with the box, the proper ECG test method is to use two fingers together to press on the dial, one at the top of the dial and the other at the metal plate at the bottom of the dial. There is a key “secret” feature that gives a report card on your heart’s health. On the EGG detection page, tap the icon with the three dots at the upper right corner of the page. This will take you to the Records page. Tap on the Trend tracking button. A big circle will show the proportion of the color-coded “grades” on the left side of the page. Further down the page, you can see the records that were graded normal. Tap on the Abnormal button to view the records, if any, with the symptoms in the color-coded scheme. Note that a record graded as abnormal here might be marked as normal by AI diagnostics. If you reach a personal target, like steps, the E66 will vibrate and light up with a icon and the word "completed."
There are a few things that would make this app a lot better. First, it would be nice if it could integrate with Health Connect, so that data from the ring could sync in to samsung health and Google Fit. Second, please optimize the app for use by the blind with the Talkback screen reader.
I've been using this app for a week and it really is such a lame. It can't stand being logged in, even without closing the app, your session would be suddenly closed and you'll not be able to see your health tracking. Translation is the worst and functionality is so limited. I'll return the smart ring in a couple days.
#1 No directions on how to set it up. #2 It absolutely will NOT stay connected to my phone by Bluetooth. #3 the sleep time and steps are way off. I drive down a gravel road and I have 2000 extra steps. It was working great at the start but now 1 week later it's almost useless. I'm glad it wasn't terribly expensive that's for sure. I don't suggest anybody buying this product.
I Purchased a smart ring to keep track. The ring is works great but I have a suggestion on the app. I would love to be able to track my sleep pattern but unfortunately im am not able to manual edit the times. I work overnights so the app doesn't track my sleep. Only on my days off it tracks it correctly. If they fix this issue some how I would definitely rate this higher. Hopefully they do an update for that.
the ring i got with it is good, but the application is extremely weak. the only thing ot measures ok is sleep. there are way too few sports types listed, for me tennis is missing, it does not automatically detect sports activity, you can't find anything in there. upgrade the application to meet market standards and I will gladly improve rating.
During the last 4 days it has stopped the 30min interval checks and is constantly disconnecting. I've tried clearing cache, turning phone off and on, force closing app, restarting it and reinstalling it. To no avail. I'll update the stars and my fix if I can get one. It'd be nice to have the source code of the app so I could try to identify what is going on -_-.
The app is completely broken now after last update. Cannot save ANY changes in the app at all. Can't change units to imperial, can't change health stat refresh to 10 minutes, basically anytime you try to change any setting the "sure" or "save" button is there but is not able to be clicked on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no help. Please fix the app so it is usable again, right now it is a total waste.
Seems to work well, but very much lacking in help. There is a setting for calibrating blood pressure, but absolutely no instructions, so I have no clue what it's for. Do you need to use a standard machine to check that it's reading matches the one taken by your ring? Do you set it to some number that best fits the healthy target for your height, weight and age? What is it for?
On Samsung Galaxy S8, will not allow me to input verification code correctly. Skips a space and only lets me input first 3 characters of 6. Can't setup account. Auto Fill Code does not work either. Useless software. If this software is no longer supported, someone let me know so I can stop wasting time trying to get it to work.
I do like the design and the features. The first two weeks it was pretty good. Just before this latest update & after. It does not detect my ring or my wife's on her phone. The detect devices icon has no animation, which makes it hard to tell if it's trying to detect the device or it's not working at all. It has drag down to update but since it's not detecting the ring. I can't say if it's working or not.
The app work as described. Pretty basic and straight forward to use. I'd like to see an option for real time measurements. Not sure how accurate the step count is. Almost seem that if you loose Bluetooth connection with your phone it won't count steps during that time or add the when connection is reestablished.
great ring but this app is... Meh... at best. the app doesn't record ALL of my sleep, such as a nap or going to bed really early. if I'm sleeping, it should recognize that I'm sleeping and record that data... regardless of the time of day I'm sleeping. My SLEEP is the very reason I got the ring in the first place. Since the ring and app can't record my actual sleep, at the very least, the app should have a way for the end user to select a time frame for usual sleep, such as, 6pm to 6am.
