Absolutely a waste of my time trying to get this to connect to my washer. It keeps telling me my network isn't correct or not nearby and keeps asking me to re-enter my password. I have the right network and password. I know how to connect devices and have never had this much trouble connecting something. I did get it to apparently connect once by adding my model and serial number but was never able to access the special features that tell me how much time is left in the load. Ridiculous.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! UPDATE! FIXED, didn't know verification went to spam email. Customer service should tell people to check. Window A/C unit. A/C works fine, but the app is worthless. It initially worked, then the next day when I tried to control my A/C,... it wouldn't work. It just kept loading. I went through the steps with customer service, deleting app, restarting phone, reinstall app, changing password etc. I went through 2 weeks of this. When all they needed to to was say check spam.
when it works, it's great. Recently the app has decided it does not want to continuously recognize my range, especially the lower section of my double oven, and usually classifies it as 'offline' eventhough it is connected to my network and visable in my list of devices in my routers app. Pretty disappointing that after only 1 year I run into technical glitches.
Used to be a good app. Always crashes when trying to select our washing machine now. Shows briefly before crashing. Very disappointing Update: they requested I email their app support. Been a few weeks and no response. Really starting to regret buying these machines if they won't keep the app working. If anyone else has similar issues, I had to go back to version 1.0.0.106.2 from May 4, 2025 to get one that works.
This is the bloatiest, pushiest, inconsistent app I am forced to engage with. It's connected to two GE window unit air conditioners in my house. I HAVE to use the app for at least one of them because the remote doesn't work (almost right out of the box), and it's difficult to reach the controls. It's two air conditioners. I don't need recipe suggestions or an AI assistant or shortcuts, or notifications, or a shopping list. I need an app that lets me control my AC units and nothing else.
Horrible app. if your device is offline, it won't let you delete shortcuts. I have shortcuts for a 2 year dead air conditioner that don't work with my new one, still GE, or won't let me delete because device is offline. IT'S OFFLINE BECAUSE IT'S AT THE DUMP. UPDATE: The programmers do not care about fixing this issue. Not only a horrible app, but horrible customer service.
Slow to load, and ads on an app for an appliance I paid thousands of dollars for rubs me the wrong way. Some reasonable sized banners are ok, not giant screen covering obnoxiousness when I'm trying to quickly check my oven timer. And that brings me to the major flaw of both the oven and the app - no volume control on either. You only get one little beep on the app, and no volume control. I've had to sprint to the oven too often, and a big splash ad at that point is enraging.
Notifications for oven preheated or timer complete are severely delayed (4-5 minutes) if phone is locked. Dinner is burnt by then. Since phone locks automatically there is no reasonable workaround. Nice to be able to start preheat from phone and check on the food with the oven camera. If they fix notifications when phone locked it would be a 5 star - I'd like to get notified while relaxing outdoors on the porch. Support says this is a known issue and asked me to post a review for visibility.
Super slow. This app is a joke. At first it was convenient to be able to control my window ac unit through my phone because I have a pet at home and I know I paid more for this ac because of this feature in particular. But what is the point if by 2nd month, it completely disconnected from my wifi network and I can't get it to reconnect and the app doesnt even load. Ridiculous.
the notifications come late but I do like that I can check on it when I'm not home and it's running. I absolutely hate that it keeps giving me emails about a warranty and phone calls about a warranty I have already paid for and bought when I bought the machine. the ads are also ridiculous. i love my combo dryer but I hate the app we have to use for it.
