Rely on this app daily as a long haul driver, but getting VERY tired of having to learn how to use ANOTHER version of a gps app, that was working fine. Paid annual subscription fee, want to have same app for whole year, w/o having to install some new version!!!

It's interesting to see how the guys react when they receive negative reviews. Says a lot. Yes, I did not pay for it, I did not use it and never will . But the character of those people just say : don't touch this. By the way, after my Rand died I downloaded the co pilot app, it works great. You have 14 days of free trying and cost you less than this app from this rude and nasty people!!! Get copilot - it works!!!

My experience with this app was horrible. Sure, lure people in by making it free to download then BAM! Like a kick in the sack with "you can have our product for an easy payment of $14.95!" yea, good job for charging out the ass for something that might keep the roads safe and prevent any truckers from going down the wrong road and getting into an accident. Bunch of scalawags. 😡👎

This GPS is ok when it does what it's supposed to. But when it messes up it will really put you in a very bad predicament. It'll try to take you thru housing developments. It'll take you thru 20 small towns rather than the highway. Today I decided I'm going to try another app.

Really getting tired of the 30"-60" delay in info upload! You're really starting to suck! I've paid for and used your app for several years now, hoping you'd stop things like BS exists along routes, delays in info uploads, etc!! Don't think it's worth what I'm paying anymore!

This app is okay but their are a few issues with it. One this app seems to like to take me extra miles out the way for some reason even tho the shorter route isnt restricted. two whenever i lock my phone the oneplus 7 pro the app stops working completely like it wont run in background and provide turn by turn like google maps will with my screen locked or with music playing. I see that yall have a version 2 of this app ill give that one a try for one more month and then ill give a updated review

It works, but is not always fastest route and it will get you lost if your not paying attention. The cost is almost to exspensive. I paid for the subscription twice last year and was never refunded for one of them.

Definitely the best option, as far as I can see. I drive the 48 and this app shows me where all the truck stops are as well as all other truck parking. Also shows D.O.T weigh stations on routes. I've been using this app for at least 5 or 6 years and it's worth every penny.

This is by far best GPS and more for a trucker. Let me tell you why? I do drive semi and this description is a real world application. First thing Smart RT will get you to exact alley where you need to get your trailer. I have used one of the two GPS devices you can get at a truck stop. The other day one of those got me within half a mile from the alley and that was it. Many yards, many companies around, but which one. You can make u-turn happily like with the car. But, I had Smart Truck ..read

This is a good GPS, BUT keep in mind it's a tool to use to navigate where you want to go, research your route before leaving, please bring back showing of all the different route options ,I noticed there is no posted speed showing on the app anymore , was that one of the change when I last updated?

it hasn't let me down yet, but with that say, always keep your alerts guard up and do all your planning ahead. once in a great while it can't find the adresss. easy to use, lock all my favorites drop & p/u & truck stops so I know exactly how many hours or miles needed to my next STOP!

They are the best. I lost my Gmail and they help me find it. I've been with them for three years with their app. I've been driving for 7 years and this is one of the best truck GPS you can ever get! I also like you use a Google Maps to see close to the customer on which way you to get in before you get there and you could change your route to a different entrance so when you get there you know you're going the right way. You also could change from prefer highways quick ways or shortest ways to

This is THE navigation system. I've used it for yrs. I LOVE being able to tap and hold anywhere, then route via to the point in order to change a series of turns to my liking. Or routing to a direct point with no address, like on construction sites etc. It's the best system I've ever used, seriously.

Good app, but not excellent. I have used this app for 3 years and renewed my subscription again recently. I depend on it. It does occasionally try to route me through trees or across railroad tracks without a crossing road. But I always review the route in satellite mode and can avoid most issues. You should definitely read the FAQ's and pay close attention to your settings. I've found one route to Kent WA that is just wrong. I dont like nasty customer service response comments though.

I recommend SmartTruck GPS to all drivers out there. I lost the passion of spending hundreds of dollars on them over priced TV monitors 😆.. I gave up. I found this app and started using with 1st the trial period.. I loved it so much I subscribed monthly and eventually yearly.. I don't worry about losing a GPS . We take our phones everywhere we go.. so it's Smart Trucking using this SmartTrucking.. The settings allow you decide the best route with or without tolls with all the tools you need .

New review: Ideas for improvements. The ability to trip plan multiple stops without going right to navigation. Adding in a night/dark mode view for night driving. Adding exit numbers to your destination coming from highways and interstates would be a BIG help..... Scale open/closed updates would be nice too. Been using this app since 2013 still love it. Should be all 5s in my book, just like any other trucking tool, double check your routes, not 100% accurate but its really close. 👍👍

We've been enjoying the Smart Truck Route for the past three or more years as professional drivers. The best way to get around with a Big Rig; Satellite Views, Mile Posts, Rest Area and Weigh Station Locations, Businesses, and just about every Truck Stop and CAT Scale in the trucking Industry. It will occasionally try to take you through the woods and places you can not even walk through. But, that's what Satellite is for; locate the Driveway, hold your finger on the spot. Done.

First trip and the app drops me 1/4 mile from my location on a load rated road. I was stuck with either backing up against traffic or going forward. I opted not to kill people. So I switched to Google maps and got to my drop. Wish someone could make an app for truck drivers that worked as well as Google maps works for cars. Gee, what a super genius idea.

I've had this app for 10 years now and I've been highly satisfied. About 90% of the time it is used in the city of Chicago. It has, however, led me to a route with a 5 Ton weight limit, and has routed me a bit funky to certain destinations. As of about 3 years ago, it has been pretty accurate. It's a great tool if you combine with a satellite view of your destination, along with a phone call to your destinations so that you may route yourself accordingly. Support team is very responsive.

I have used this app off and on for a couple of years. It has failed me once by routing to a truck restricted neigborhood. I sent the makers of the application an email, the only response was, We are looking into why it went down this way. No follow up. I just reinstalled the application this month and had no issues. It has failed to to keep a signal but that is an issue with my phone. overall I am please and is worth the subscription price.
