app doesn't even start. payed for a week and after I paid it just crashes. uninstalled 3 times. phones brand new and fully updated as well. would like a refund as I literally haven't been able to use the app once.
Awful app. No free trial to explore the app so I took out the monthly subscription, took one 7 minute lesson and then wanted me to "subscribe" again even though I've already got a subscription and wouldn't let me carry on with anything else.
Not much of a learning but reading, no 'exercises' but mainly 'advices' and 'recommendation', no test or serious reviews of what you've 'learned' just 3-5 point summary. Everything in app appears to be AI generated, you might be better of with paid subscription for decent LLM model and ask it to curate lessons on particular subjects - you'll end up with similar results.
Everything is AI generated from the images to the scripts to the voices, there's no tasks to do, you just have to listen to endless ai generated voices talking, really disappointing. The app itself looks nice. There's an image in the app store that shows a book section, "browse all 100+ world best sellers", this section doesn't exist in the actual app. Just seems like an app made with the intention of generating profits, its easy to create apps like this these days using AI.
They give you a lengthy questionnaire about what you want to learn and when you think you would want to learn and why do you think you want to learn more. They tell you they have a structured lesson based in your answers, and they ask you to review them... Then they show you the prices before you can do anything else in the app. No trial before you find out what all these other reviews are saying about their ai-generated lessons.
I have no idea how these people got my information, but they have billed me well over $100 over the last few months. I went to the website and was unable to find a way to remove my information. I'm now downloading the app FOR THE FIRST TIME to try and cancel a subscription I never signed up for. **edit** even the app won't let me cancel
The Spine of Knowledge! The structure, framework, and all the components that create the whole. For example, Calculus; you may know how to solve even complex equations, but do you know all the nuance's of how the equation and solution translates into what you are studying? This app does just that. And yes, I know that was a run-on sentence and English is important, but Math is importanter!!
This app is a scam. It starts by collecting data that you need to enter and as the last step it requires a payment on a WEEKLY basis. No serious provider requests a weekly payment. A serious provider always gives the price or conditions beforehand. The other way around is a dishonest trick to collect information.
Total run around with registration and payment - Brutal customer service. First as I paid for the subscription a pop up kept asking me to sign up for a discount on premium. Somehow the app conveniently took my payment twice by being very confusing. Success receiving the second payment in a refund from Google only for the app to have taken my money but have no record of my email address? Dodgy at best. Do not waste your time or energy and most definitely, money on this scam.
Avoid! Spent 20 minutes going through a questionnaire to "tailor my personalized experience". Then it wanted some personal info which it definitely shouldn't need. I felt suspicious and managed to skip it. I went for the math course and the only thing it offered for free was a generic wall of text on "how math is everywhere". I clearly stated in the questionnaire that I don't want text. The second lesson was of course a paid one. Soo, I went to read the reviews and it was a right decision.
