Alerts and feeds skip constantly. does not pick up what I bought it to pick up. it's like anytime a person should be on the screen it gets overwhelmed and skips to a time when the person is gone. what is the point. if not fixed soon I will purchase something else. safety was my priority but it skips over the important feed.

Used to be able to see some alerts. Now it requires a subscription. No thanks. I bought these cameras so they wouldn't need a subscription, and they switched it to now you need one??? That's a bait and switch. App doesn't work half the time and logs out too.

Can't get event feeds to load properly. when it finally loads it goes back to when I first put the camera on!! Zmodo has them listed by time stamps. Can we get something like that?

Let me be able to control my video search through the timeline. How do I tell the program to stop jumping through the image alerts? Go back to the old app or just copy its functionality. HELP...

the zmodo wireless camera doesn't pick up human motion at all it really only pick up vehicle motion i paid for the subscription the new update stopped it from working properly everything else is ok the battery is not lasting 6 months like it proclaim it may last 6 days horrible and no zoom i will not renew safe guard plan not until they fix the issue

Can no longer view clips without a paid subscription, rendering all my cameras useless! Original customers should have been 'grandfathered in' instead of being extorted just to use the now non-existent service that we bought into from the beginning. If anyone starts a class action lawsuit, count me in!

after most recent update one camera wasn't working, then it was slow to come on if at all. I reset it, nothing. I disconnected it and now it won't reconnect. the update killed it since it was working flawless minutes before I applied the update. wonderful

loads slow. the preview of recording sucks. now it won't log me in. the old version was way better. *edit* can't play recordings. just keeps loading. been going on for past month or so. I can only see live. I'll be canceling payment soon.

absolute junk. zmodo had its own issues but I had worked through those. I freeze up constantly here. takes me sometimes almost a minute for my cameras to populate. doesn't matter if I'm on wide open Wi-Fi or not. it's the app, not the phone or cameras..... thank you very much for the same copy/paste reply that you give everyone on here. The 30 minutes I will spend on the phone with you to help you identify your own problems so you can 'work on them in the future" is not welcomed

The app does not work. One of my camera would never connect. After paying for a year subscription, I wasn't able to view events or even stream in real time on one. Their "support" were useless, rude, and didn't care about helping. After over an hour on chat they stopped responding without helping to solve the issue or even saying they couldn't solve it. Save your money, do not use this company or any of their products. DO NOT PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION. The product won't work

Edit: the outage issue has been resolved. I still feel like the quality of the cameras and how they function has declined. They keep becoming more difficult to use; they record long blocks of nothing but miss important events. They have never had sound. They freeze and crash more consistently than they record. This is our third year of paying for clips; we loved the system for the first year. We want to keep using it, but we need it to go back to being reliable and easy to use.

Previously, the cameras worked through zmodo and meShare, for several years there were no problems, when they switched to Smartz Eaze, a lot of problems appeared. Some cameras stopped working, I had to reconnect them again. Worked, but slow, and now I can not log into my account. This app is garbage, better buy other cameras and use another app

The mandated conversion was very bad. Totally confusing and not user-friendly. also lost the basic plan free 24 hours videos and notifications and alerts. No phone support available. if I'm forced to pay for cloud subscription I might as well convert to Ring equipment which are more efficient, faster and more user-friendly, intuitive. I just updated the app with no improvement. The explanations and excuses given by the developer are erroneous and useless.

I can't watch my cloud playback anymore since the new app/update. It just loads forever. If someone stole off my porch I won't be able to see who it was or when because it'll just show me the loading screen forever. Its really disappointing when the other app worked so much better. Update7/13/25- the app started to work but then the app keeps signing me out and now it won't let me sign back in uninstalled and reinstalled, still can't sign in!!

absolutely awful. as soon as i get a little money, im buying new cameras. these things have been a nightmare since day 1. works when they want to, used to save video clips of motion, now it wants to charge you for everything. doesn't even let you see what the motion was now without having a subscription. 50 percent of the time the things will either go offline randomly or the appt wont even let you log in and it blames a "failed internet connection" which is bs seeing as how im on the internet.

-5 review. Got two cameras over a month ago just to keep an eye out and all of a sudden, I'm not getting notifications. I have tried everything. Reset everything and mess with all the settings on the camera's and my phone and still nothing. Everything is working just not getting notifications and no help from support but the same damn message on what to do that I have already done 😞. Not happy to spend the money for nothing.

This was great until I decided to stop using it. The charge keeps posting on my credit card every month, but when I open the app it says No billing History, and there is no way to cancel since it's not showing that it's being charged. Super frustrated. Also, activating with the QR code is ridiculous, I've never spent so much time linking a device.

had these for over a year. every update gets worse. this morning my app stopped working completely. won't log in, won't do anything. keeps telling me internet failure but there is no problem with my internet. I've uninstalled & try to reinstall with the qr code but that says domain is no longer available. I'm so frustrated that this service has drastically gotten worse every month. over the past 6 months I've lost the ability to see anything except live feed.

Bought Zmodo cameras years ago because they were inexpensive and worked great for a long time until this app went mandatory. Willing to look past the price per camera (blinks cheaper) and the fact the cameras I can't afford subs on are useless with blank motion captures, and the fact the "smart" alerts can't tell the difference in a shadow or person (if car is parked in screen, alert is always vehicle). Not looking past paying $50 a year and can't load videos whatsoever in over 2 weeks. I'm done

Old version worked great. Now the cameras don't want to connect, app is slow, any features except live feed and recent clips are paid, and the cameras themselves are very poorly designed (battery life and wireless connection). Out of 3, only one of mine still works. Into the trash every single one. Spend the money on Reolink.
