just got a new phone and I'm already disappointed that the message app that had zero ads now has frequent ads unless I pay extra. this practice of adding ads is legit anger inducing and I will be going any other route now, all these 5 star ratings are either bots or really unintelligent people. this is legit just sad that the developers are just that shameless
Ads in my SMS app are just annoying. This app, based on the icon, was pre-installed on my last phone; trying to find the exact same SMS app has proven difficult.
It works but is more confusing than other apps. blank pages, no way to easily exit the program. annoying ads.
Used to be a great app. Now they have allowed an ad banner at the bottom that is very distracting and unnecessary!
The ads are intrusive, numerous and there is no way to turn them off without affecting some of the core functionality.
I dislike the ads that keep popping up at bottom of screen 😒 . Also, the app shows I have unread texts even though I have viewed and read them all. This is frustrating.
I am still getting use to this program. I am use to my old messenger. My old messenger had absolutely NO ads. I don't like ads especially when I am trying to get something done and suddenly there is an ad that pops up and you can't get rid of it.
Thought that I was replacing the free app, but as usual the charges started to appear and eventually CHPT or something like that was $$20 a month. Yes €20 a month! wHY OH WHY CAN INTERNET APP'S NOT BE UP FRONT & HONEST ABOUT CHARGES? NEEDLESS TO SAY I CHOSE ANOTHER APP BECAUSE OF YOUR SALES TACTICS BEING LESS THAN UP FRONT WITH ME DIRECTLY & PERSONALLY. I just don't like it period. I was comfortable with the 1 you took away. it pisses me off that there is an add at the bottom. I don't like that I have to click on the top right side to delete something. I so loved my old 1 that you took away!
I'm trying this app because the one that came with my Galaxy s25 is a horrible layout, now I'm having issues when I try to go hit the backspace normally at the lower area, there's an advertisement that keeps popping up that I can't get rid of and it just wasting time when I hit it accidentally instead of the backspace at the top of the screen I'm thinking I might not use this also
