just got a new phone and I'm already disappointed that the message app that had zero ads now has frequent ads unless I pay extra. this practice of adding ads is legit anger inducing and I will be going any other route now, all these 5 star ratings are either bots or really unintelligent people. this is legit just sad that the developers are just that shameless

Ads in my SMS app are just annoying. This app, based on the icon, was pre-installed on my last phone; trying to find the exact same SMS app has proven difficult.

It works but is more confusing than other apps. blank pages, no way to easily exit the program. annoying ads.

Used to be a great app. Now they have allowed an ad banner at the bottom that is very distracting and unnecessary!

The ads are intrusive, numerous and there is no way to turn them off without affecting some of the core functionality.

I dislike the ads that keep popping up at bottom of screen 😒 . Also, the app shows I have unread texts even though I have viewed and read them all. This is frustrating.

I am still getting use to this program. I am use to my old messenger. My old messenger had absolutely NO ads. I don't like ads especially when I am trying to get something done and suddenly there is an ad that pops up and you can't get rid of it.

Thought that I was replacing the free app, but as usual the charges started to appear and eventually CHPT or something like that was $$20 a month. Yes €20 a month! wHY OH WHY CAN INTERNET APP'S NOT BE UP FRONT & HONEST ABOUT CHARGES? NEEDLESS TO SAY I CHOSE ANOTHER APP BECAUSE OF YOUR SALES TACTICS BEING LESS THAN UP FRONT WITH ME DIRECTLY & PERSONALLY. I HATE THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS ITS ALMOST LIKE STEALING AS I DONT KNOW ALL THE COSTS UP FRONT. BE HONEST & GET MORE CUSTOMERS J Ron.

I just don't like it period. I was comfortable with the 1 you took away. it pisses me off that there is an add at the bottom. I don't like that I have to click on the top right side to delete something. I so loved my old 1 that you took away!

I'm trying this app because the one that came with my Galaxy s25 is a horrible layout, now I'm having issues when I try to go hit the backspace normally at the lower area, there's an advertisement that keeps popping up that I can't get rid of and it just wasting time when I hit it accidentally instead of the backspace at the top of the screen I'm thinking I might not use this also

if I could give this app a negative star I would, it does not deserve a one star. problem is, I had to get a new phone, the other phone messaging was great 10 out of 10. this new phone I had to add this app, fine, now it has a stupid add right where the conversation and contact icons are and you can not remove it and can not move it to access the icons, thanks for screwing up a great product for revenue ads. I will be seeking a new messaging service. good luck people.

Abysmal. ADS ON A TEXT MESSAGE??? texting is 1 of the basic 3 functions of a phone how can you mess it up this badly? Bring back old app. I was so confused when I opened this app - thanks to other reviewers for making me realise I wasn't being insane! Don't download, don't use, complete joke. If I could do negative stars I would.

Very glitchy app. you have to sit through ads that interrupt texting. I have had to shut the phone down and reboot it because half the time the apps won't go through until I reboot the phone. it won't send more than one picture at a time and most of the time, won't deliver texts to me with attachments. really not worth having.

Pro version app is attempting to forward messages to group chats that I did not set a filter for. Luckily, the message does not go through as my android messaging app states the forward attempt is not formatted correctly. I purchased the pro version and I need to know how to get a refund.

nice app would really appreciate the message install as popup stop before closing after reading message. i also want to stop in app messages that don't appear in my inbox. they popup them disappear when I click on them. too too many ads that trap you being unable to close out without having to close out of app itself. how can I stop the caller ID message requesting that I allow this app over other apps after every call. it's annoying

This app won't play audio texts that were transferred into it. Won't pin people to the top. Won't search in a single conversation. Now it says storage full!! Plus the banner ad banner at the bottom that you have to be careful not to touch or it'll install something you don't want! I was hoping it would work like the original in my old Galaxy A52. It was EXCELLENT. This loaded version 3.4 and it is worse than ever!

While I love the layout, look, and smoothness of the Samsung messaging app, the only thing I don't like is I still can't send high-res videos over text or more than a couple pictures at a time. Some of the other messaging apps have already figured this out, which is making me want to switch, but I still like the layout of this one better than the others.

This WAS Once A Great App... I just got a newer phone. This was My Go to App. I use to be able to add a voice message within the App. I no longer can do that! I use to be able to send a group text with ease, No Longer Can Do That! I Have to Exit the App each time I send A Message? WHY WOULD YOU SCREW UP A GOOD THING... I originally gave a very good rating. 4 stars actually, that I thought was a very good rating for the application at the time. Now my rating is going to change, because there's an ad at the bottom of the page that is impossible to move or scroll without opening up the actual ad. I DO NOT NEED TO SEE AN AD FOR A TEXT MESSAGING PROGRAM!!

Like another user, I got another phone. Went from a Samsung 22 Ultra to a Samsung 25 Ultra. The app was great prior to the upgrade. Now there are sooo many ads all over the place, it's ridiculous. The print is smaller, even with increasing the size. The overall visual appearance is a downgrade instead of an upgrade. The text box constantly has a 1 in it, but when pressed, nothing happens. Was able to hit the contacts button to use favorite contacts, but that's gone. By far the worse upgrade.
