When this app works it's great. However there are issues. Such as when I took my payments off auto pay, my bank account doesn't show up as a payment option. But it's still saved in my account so I can't readd it. Another thing is the app used to show you your acured interest before making a payment. Its not longer there. Not sure whose running the review account but my issue with my checking account was not a suggestion. It is a problem!

The good is that there are tons of tools to use to keep your money managed properly. As time progresses, I continue to find flaws in the banking app, especially when it comes to time and bill paying. Deposited checks take several days to process, so you have to wait longer to use your funds even after payday. Funds still take forever to transfer to other banks and such. As I notice many flaws and how time-consuming tasks are, I start to lose hope as the reliability of Sofi diminishes.

OMG, the notifications are extremely annoying. For stocks that I have no interest in at all. I go in the app to notification settings, and there's no option to turn them off! 🗣PLEASE JUST MAKE IT STOP!!! Other than that, I actually love sofi products and use pretty much all of them. If you want the credit card, make sure your credit score is where you want it to be because they don't believe in credit limit increases.

Was great....for a short while. Then crashed and totally useless. Out of the blue, I am suddenly unable to add money to my account to be able to buy stocks. It just quit working and gave me a 'Sorry for the delay on our end' message. So frustrating if you want to be able to buy stocks quickly at a target price. Think I'll cash out and take my money elsewhere.

The banking experience is great. I have no complaints. It is easy to use and you don't have a whole bunch of ads and other stuff while trying to use it. The investment side of the app, however, could use some work. I think maybe if you're just buying stocks it is fine. Several numbers do not update automatically, so you have to click out and then back into whatever you're trying to buy or sell. For something like an option that can ruin your entire position.

Had you asked last week this would have been a 4-5. A retired computer forensic examiner. Not my first tech rodeo. Bank and app are great for savings management; OK and still getting used to odd bill paying, could be simpler. The issue is with those not so everyday, when you need them, YOU NEED THEM events Big purchased required a wire transfer. The third party vendor ID software SoFi uses is terrible and failed a dozen times. SoFi support useless on vendors. No backup option. Cost me $207.

I haven't had much experience with the bank but the app is way too crowded. The checking portion should be the first page and the ability to freeze your card should be easier and faster to access. currently, it's extremely cluttered update: even worse than I thought. you have to reenter the debit card to Google wallet every time you unfreeze it. huge waste of time.

I absolutely love this bank and investment company!!! I just started with them, it's only been a few weeks and they have already raised my credit score a few points and gave me some of their points which added $10 to my checking account. I've never dealt with a bank like this. they have it all, checking savings retirement plans CDs when I get my money up I'm investing in everything they have!!!!

minus one star for being a little too pushy with their offerings and having too much clutter (mostly with other things they want you to sign up for). BUT being able to have a bank account (that gives 4.25% APY to boot, at least if you go through Samsung), invest in stocks, IRAs, etc all in one place is extremely convenient.

Excellent banking and investing app! By far one of the best banking and stocks investing apps I've ever used! It's very easy to use and informative with regards to the stock market and building your financial future. I've yet to have any problems or experience any glitches. I have other apps for banking, but I use this one the most. I rarely, if ever, see an ad. The customer service is excellent as well. I think SoFi should have small physical banking branch locations nationwide.
