I've been using this app for awhile. I was hoping I'd be able to track the new Interstellar object but it's no where to be found. Is there anyway you could add 3I/Atlas to the app please?
Reviews for Solar System Scope
← Back to Solar System ScopeI love it you should make the inside of planet a bit realistic and also fix some bugs but it's so much fun and cool I appreciate 😀 amazing 👏🏻. It feels like absolute cenima.
I love this game but a lot can't be done almost everything thing that looks interesting needs money and you guys should improve in this game I would like to do space missions for Free and you should still add more
if there where other solar system in there it would be absolute cinimatic perfection and if we can like play with them like add a planet customize it and yeah
Great app tracks objects in the night sky. Great graphics of solar system, incl moons, nebula stars, planets, etc. Easy to use instructions are concise and easy to understand 👍
Thank you for putting this app in the store, I'm a fan. I was especially encouraged when for a tiny fee, I was able to upgrade to premium and skip the annoying ads. I'm now "exploring" this tiny portion of our cosmos to my heart's content. For the first time, I found myself gaping at oddly shaped, cookie-dough looking moons from our solar system that I never even knew existed. I am fascinated to say the least.☄☄☄
I love the app. The only thing that needs to be done is that it needs a picture of the exoplanet and exo moons ,not only the stars. It also needs a picture of all the satellites and other human made probes and also the landing sites of all the interplanetary missions.
great app, my kids love navigation around the solar system. I have the paid version. I wish they add at least 4x zoom into each planet to see more surface details. Also for viewing setting, there is only realistic and large , I hope they create another middle view that is in between, where u have better idea of sizes differences but it still looks awesome like the "large" view.
I love this app. It's a lot of fun to use, and it's nice to see an objective view of the planets relative locations from an external perspective, as this lets me rationalize what I see in the night sky. One issue though, the star view seems to be questionable. At least when viewing from my location, and with time set to always 12pm, it shows the sun dipping below the horizon in the winters, which it definitely never does at 40°N. Seeing this glaring error makes me question the rest of the data.
I love this, I love exploring through space, I love all the details in it! It is like Space engine but for mobile (I guess). But there is this problem I'm facing, whenever I get to Night Sky and using the default control (the one you have to control by moving your phone) is stuck facing the North and South, I will be glad if you guys fix it. Overall, this is a great app!
The best app in it's class... Bring clarity and understanding... open your mind or the minds of people who just don't get it. Since childhood I've had a broad perception and awareness along with a detailed understanding of the way the solar system works, the vastness of the unverse, galaxies, constelations, and more importantly, the number of moons in our planets, rotation speed, their (calendar year) length, the time it takes for a 1 single earth day (24hrs) vs other planets... Long orbits of distant planets that still orbit our solar system, etc.. It's fascinating, yet a great majority of people have very little understanding, thus they are not interested in such things... I tell you, use this app, support it, buy it. It is excellent.
This app is a brilliant gateway into the wonders of our solar system, perfectly satisfying my curiosity about space. It provides an awe-inspiring glimpse of how minuscule we are on a cosmic scale, making it not just an educational tool but a humbling experience. However, I find myself wishing for more. The inclusion of more planets, stars, and the thrilling possibility of exploring galaxies beyond our own would elevate this app to new heights.
I love this app, however, I feel you missed some opportunities for it to be 5 stars (In my opinion) It'd be stellar if the images can be expanded to full screen ie; messier objects, galaxies, comets. Also if you were to include exoplanets would be awesome! Maybe use stock photos & videos (I know there may be copy rights & whatnot to think about). Maybe, be able to track down important objects like landers, rovers, comets, asteroids & probes with info! Everything else is absolutely awesome!
Absolutely amazing. The detail that went into making this is incredible for a phone app. I only hope more continues to be added to it. My favorite is the ability to put whatever date and time you want from any location in the world to see where celestial objects that have an orbit path were at that moment in time. As a suggestion, I would love to see the Hebrew names for the stars/constellations etcetera added as an optional hide/show feature just like the Latin names feature.
Paid version/Galaxy note 8* Fantastic interactive space app to familiarize yourself with our solar system. The kids love it. Great detail, color and conception. Only complaint I have is that the information for each space body is short and leaves me with more questions and hungry for more information. Last thing I want is to leave the app to Google the information. I'll gladly pay for a more expansive version with more info on each space body, perhaps including images taken from satellites. Otherwise I love it.
Props to the first and only app to freeze up my phone - and it was WORTH it. Lol Granted, I was toying with the solar system timeline often, and for many minutes long, which I'm sure could become a resource hog quickly, given all of the on-the-fly calculations and animations taking place (I had virtually everything set visible). The app is gorgeous, educational, and fantastic. And free? Thank you!
Wonderful! I am beyond fascinated with the graphics and realism of this app. I almost feel like I'm in space. It would be great if one could add light and really zoom in to see the details of the objects. The ability to see the colors of the gases and blackhole regions would be cool also. Please use this as base for a mission type RPG. That would be so awesome!
Served me well for years - even for free, it's very educational, has neat graphics, and it has been the only way I've been able to seek out past night sky/planet orientation - at least, until I got a modern phone last year. Now, I need to uninstall and reinstall every time I want to use it - which is why this app lost a couple of stars for me. (Unsure whether it's more the fault of the new phone or one of its system updates, but this is frustrating and inconvenient regardless.)
I have a few things to say about this app: First of all, I think it's wonderful! I am obsessed with all things space. The ads are annoying, but at least they feature some cool products like telescopes, microscopes, etc. At least it's not those annoying TikTok advertisements and game ads. That's a plus for me! I think it would be cool if they would include actual pictures of the surfaces of the planets we've been able to take photographs of-(continue to next passage)
Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for. I can't tell you how many other orrery apps I've downloaded that I ended up deleting. The nice thing about this is you can see the inner planets even when the solar system is zoomed all the way out. Basically the orbital scale is accurate, but the planets have been enlarged for visibility. The only thing I would add is an option to toggle on the names for the constellations in the background, and the ability to type in year rather than scroll.
