Been using Solex for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your 3DR Solo drone in all kinds of cool ways. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can set up automated flight paths like Orbit, Selfie, and Cable Cam. There’s also Follow modes that track your phone or other remote devices. And there’s handy features like HDR photos and time-lapse. Took me a while to figure some of it out but the app makes it pretty easy to use.
Look, if you’re into drone photography and videography, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you have a Solo drone.
