Been using SoLive – Live Video Chat for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can video chat with random people from all over the world. Seemed pretty cool to me – a nice way to meet new folks, especially during these times when it’s harder to get out.
Here’s what you do: you make a profile, set some preferences, and then the app matches you with other users to chat with. And there’s also group chat rooms, which is a nice way to meet even more people. And if you end up hitting it off with someone, you can add them as a friend and keep chatting.
Look, if you’re into video chatting and making new connections, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the matches feel a bit random and there can be some creeps, but overall it does the job. Worth giving it a try.

So here's my honest take on SoLive - Live Video Chat. I've tested a bunch of video chat apps and this one's pretty solid. The matching algorithm works well most of the time and it's easy to use. I like that you can filter by interests and location too. The video quality is good and it hasn't crashed on me yet. But it's not without its issues - the free version has annoying ads, and I've had some awkward matches with people who clearly weren't looking for genuine conversation. Still, if you're looking to meet new folks, this is a pretty good option.
