I run this on a Samsung Tab 2 tablet and it is dependable and easy to use. Download Dropbox and you can run this across many devices! Love love love this app!! I have about 500 songs working in it with "Performance Ready" around 200 songs. 10-26-2019 Update! This app is still SO dependable! It is still the best!!!
I use it weekly and have it on both my tablet and phone, it works absolutely fine on my tablet. But recently it's stopped working in my phone, it's glitching, won't sync with Dropbox and crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but it's still having the same problem.
5 years later.. Still an amazing app. It works BETTER than expected. Got me through few phones, computers, OS updates. Thank you very much for one of the best apps in existence. Very VERY good app. The synchronization with Dropbox is genius and works flawlessly. The only reason for 4 (and not 5) stars, is that the autoscroll feature does not work at all. Please fix it, Christian. :)
I've been using this app for a number of years now. I have it on my Android phone and my Ipro tablet. This app is great, I have all my music in one place and it's very convenient and easy to use. However the 1 problem I have found is when I add a song & I'm setting the time of the song, it always changes the time I have set on other songs. So when I switch to another song & hit scroll, it will be in the time of the last song I saved instead of the time I had previously set it at. Help please
Latest update broke the search function. I've been using this app in a stage situation for the past 6 years, and whatever happened in the latest update made it completely unusable. I can search for a song and then after going back to the search box, everything is empty until you exit and relaunch the app. Developersplease address this issue! I've purchased this app on windows, iOS and Android.
I've been using songbook with my band. The dropsync feature is great for sharing songs with band members. I make a change or add new song, dropsync it and other band members download it from dropbox and presto! We're all reading the same song! One improvement I would offer is ability to change font colors for diff erent singers so each singer would know what part is theirs to sing by the color of the font. All in all its a great app for musicians.
I've been using this app for leading worship in churches for well over a decade (8.4" tablet and bluetooth pedal). Both on Windows and on Android. A couple of times I have come across issues and the developer has been very responsive to fix them. The sync between windows and Android using OneDrive or Dropbox works really well. Chordpro file format is the best file format.
Good prog. I only use the APK and It works OK. I would like to see some better implementation of RTL languages like Hebrew and Arabic. With these, editing is pretty cumbersome on my Android at the time. Also the import of files from the Internet would profit greatly from automatic recognition and adaptation of the chords (adding brackets). Thanks for this useful software. Blessings.
App is really great. I would recommend it to all. I think, it will serve most of the musicians. What I am personally missing is showing two rows of chord when using CAPO. We use it as a Band, we have screens that looks like monitors and we see text, chords and all what we need. In some songs, guitar player uses CAPO and that way he is holding "different" chords than rest of the band. Those chords is not possible to see and we need to go around it with notes, etc. It would be nice option to have
Brilliant. I've been using it for years, and it is my primary songwriting tool. I use it on my Android phone, , iPad, and PC, and sync with Dropbox. Five years later after my previous review - still use it every day for songwriting and performing. Now linking to OneDrive and using it on my Android phone, PC, and a Chromebook. I wish the printing capabilities from the PC version were more substantial, but Songsheet Generator from 'Ten by Ten' Software does the trick.
