App is unavailable for my device since recent update. Which is very inconvenient but I'm not shelling out a few hundred dollars to get a more recent phone when mine is only 2 years old and works flawlessly. The mobile website is impossibly slow to use. So we have stopped going to Sonic as often to save ourselves the headache. Other restaurants have compatible apps, sad to miss out on my half price slushies tho.

So many glitches. It has told me my account doesn't exist multiple times when it in fact does exist. I am always getting errors. The most frustrating thing to me is that even if I have enough gift cards to cover it, I cannot use more than one nor can I combine them and it always seems like when I go to reload enough money from my debit to cover the rest there is yet another error. It shouldn't be this difficult to order overpriced drinks.
It's always slow and often unresponsive. When selecting your pickup location, it often goes haywire and gets stuck in a loop trying to load. Shows stores are NOT taking orders sometimes when they're still open, wasting time needing to call the on-site staff to get help and ask for the discount the app gives anyway. Would stop using it, but the discounts to drinks and other stuff are why I keep it, and the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1.
I don't like this app anymore. I don't know what changed and when, but even though I've selected my local sonic as my favorite and even though I'm always signed in, every time I use the app even to just see what deals are going on, it always asks for a location or else I can't see the deals. Not to mention there's no way to contact customer service about it. When you hit 'contact us', it just wants you to leave feedback from orders. Very frustrating.
quite literally one of the worst fast food places, I would rather go to McDonald's than Sonic. The app in the past has been very very poorly done, as if they took a toddler and told it to code an app. Customer service/help is the worst I've seen either, I got an order and every single thing about it was terrible. Missing food, wrong food. literally save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
won't let me log in. has been this way for weeks. says to update the app and sends me to the Google store, but there's no update. this is in addition to the slow loading just to find out that it needs to be updated or you can't change the location or whatever else might be wrong. always something with the app. with so many issues regarding the app, y'all are probably loosing lots of money. just spend some and hire a good programmer so that you can retain your customers and win some back.
I'd give 0 stars if able. The app has ceased to allow any discounts or rewards to go through. There's slow loading times, errors when checking out, and the downright inability to include certain items, even if they're present at the selected store. The inability to stack rewards previously was also disappointing as other major food chains allow such. I used to enjoy this app for its convenience and allowance of certain rewards. With that gone and errors loading gift cards, it isn't worth having.
drinks are no longer half price, basically the whole reason I really used the app. It's slow, has crashing issues sometimes, no points systems, barely any rewards, making the half priced drinks which used to be default and automatically took the price off are now limited to one per order, and only that deal, so you can't get a half priced drink and another reward anymore, which was basically the only reason I went to sonic in the first place
This app almost never works anymore, after checkout it always takes you to a technical difficulties page. Instead of just applying half price drinks to all the drinks automatically you now have to manually activate the deal, but half the time that doesn't work either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still is slow and refuses to work properly.
Always buggy, and now they won't let me log in without giving them my phone number. Problem is, to do that they sent me an email with a link to change my personal information, and that link is unsecured. Not great when you're asking for personal information. If this was a friend's social media account, I'd guess they'd gotten hacked. Guess I won't be logging in until they change that.
