I’ve been using Soul EV Spy for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you dig into the nitty-gritty details of your Kia or Hyundai electric car. You can check the battery’s state of health, monitor temperatures, see energy usage, and even read error codes. Pretty solid app if you’re really into that kind of in-depth car data.
Here’s what you do: You plug this little Vgate iCar Pro OBDII adapter into your car’s diagnostic port, then the app connects to it over Bluetooth. Then there’s a ton of info at your fingertips – you can see your battery capacity, current charge levels, power output, and a whole lot more. It’s got some pretty advanced stuff in there that took me a while to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super useful.
Look, if you’re a EV nerd who likes to geek out over car data, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does a great job of giving you deep insights into your electric car’s performance. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.
