So here's my honest take on Sound Decibel Meter. I've tested a bunch of sound meter apps and this one's pretty solid. The interface is clean and easy to use, and the core functionality of measuring decibels works well. I like the graphing feature too - it's handy for tracking noise levels over time. The only real downside is that it can't always pick up super loud sounds, but that's more of a hardware limitation. Overall, if you need a simple decibel meter on your Android device, this is a pretty good option.

Description

Been using Sound Decibel Meter for a couple months now. It’s basically a sound level meter that uses your phone’s microphone to measure decibels. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you just fire up the app and it’ll start tracking the sound levels around you. There’s also a cool graph that shows the sound samples over time, which is pretty useful. And you can set custom thresholds to get alerts when it gets too noisy – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a nice feature.

Look, if you’re into measuring sound levels or just want to keep an eye on the noise in your environment, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the mic on some phones can’t pick up really loud sounds – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

Random pop-up adds with sound that can't be skipped for several seconds while I'm trying to take a measurement. The app doesn't really give a choice for add preferences. You...
