I’ve been using Sounds of Letters: ABC for a couple months now. It’s basically an educational app that teaches you the alphabet through interactive sounds and visuals. Pretty solid if you’re trying to help your kid learn their ABC’s.
Here’s what you do: you can tap on each letter and hear the sound it makes, either through a human voice pronouncing it or animal/object sounds. There’s also a section with ‘womb sounds’ which is kinda weird but the kids seem to like it. And you can play little minigames to practice recognizing the letters.
Look, if you’ve got a young child who’s learning to read, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying after a while – but overall it does a good job of making alphabet learning fun and engaging. Worth checking out, especially if you don’t want to pay for it.
