The app works fine to find a location, see the wait time, and/or sign in ahead of time. However, it doesn't save your favorite stylist, which seems to be available, but doesn't work and is a bit of a problem as we would like to reward a stylist with repeat business. Also, supposed to get a little grace period when going to the location after the online check-in, but we were kicked out of cue when 10 minutes late, while I have been present for a registration lasting for much longer.

Lately it just crashes whenever it opens so this app has basically become useless to me. However, when it was working, it still was a crapshoot. I'd check in with my preferred stylist and it would switch to another or cancel at times while I was driving and then I'd have to just wait again. If you want to improve it? Let people schedule the times they want a haircut instead of just hoping they make it in time. It would help the stylists and the customers.

Check-ins get purged off the system. I checked in when the was a 70 minute wait. I arrived after 60 minutes. I waited another 60. When I reached On Deck status, I suddenly disappeared off the list. When I brought this to the attention of the store staff, they weren't surprised, so this is clearly a common problem. Technology clearly exists to make this app and system not delete you when you've checked in at the store. Come on - just get it fixed.

Terrible app, too many steps to "Check-in" I was in a hurry to get my haircut and it was a busy day. I thought I had checked in but when I got to the store apparently there was a third step to signing in. I didn't get the stylist I wanted and ended up sitting in the waiting area an additional 20 minutes. I'm deleting the app now and considering a different business for my haircut needs.

The look of the app is cool, but the functionality is very poor. It doesn't show if I was confirmed with my stylist or keep track of my estimated time until I'm up. I had no idea if I signed up or not either. I almost just gave up and didn't go to sports clips, and I'm a long-time sports clips guy. Also, the wording of if you already signed up is weird.

Useless. Logged in online, arrive at store, wait time same as if I had just walked in through door. Not first time it happens. App interface makes you jump for extra loops on finding the same store you always go to, even if you define in preferences. Save your time, memory, skip this. UPDATE Support contacted me. Essentially app is a shortcut to see wait times, it doesn't mean you get the time slot you "checked in" for, and it's all my fault for not being meekly accepting. Skip this, hard.

This app leaves so much to be desired. From a login process that won't remember your credentials or offer biometric login to timing out constantly when attempting to log in, it starts out rough. But it gets worse. The app constantly logs you out, even when you've granted background permissions. It defaults to a location in Texas, even though you've granted full-time location permissions. And if you do manage to get logged in and attempt to navigate to the home page, it's just a spinning circle.

Finally supports biometric logins since I'm usually driving when checking in. I select my stylist saved as a favorite, check in and I know exactly how long I have. No more sitting in the store for extended periods. I show up at the store minutes before she's ready and I'm in and out! Awesome... don't change a thing with this application!!! All you whining about times, just show up 10-15 minutes before your time. Times are estimates ONLY... at least you aren't sitting there for hours!!!

I've been using this app for over a year but over the last 6 months, it has gone downhill. The data is inaccurate, wait times are all over the place. The last 2 times I showed up and had to wait over 30 mins. Today after waiting 2 hours, it showed me 20 minute wait time and then 5 mins later it showed 0 mins (but i didnt receive a text), I showed up at the location and it showed 20 min wait time on site. They either start scheduling people or fix the wait time. Very annoying!

Most recent update is terrible. Wait time used to stay the same following check in, but now changes over time without warning (sometimes goes longer, sometimes shorter). Estimated time of arrival is gone, so now a user has to calculate arrival on their own. The progress wheel is unnecessary. Why do I need to know when I'm "in store" and "finished"?? I'll know because I'll be IN the store and walking out when I'm done. Way too clunky, overdone, and scattered. Bring the previous version back.

The app sometimes makes me do circles to get a check in I feel. I would like to select the store, stylist, and go but I have to log in with password and trying to do makes me wait longer because I tend to forget the password and create a new one. With Great Clips, click store, number of people and go. To me, it seems overprotective for name and birthday.

If you select your stylist, the app does not account for customers that are in store under first available when determining time. So when it says your stylist will be available at a certain time, "be sure to be in store at the time given" you wind up waiting 40 minutes whenever there are "first available customers" in line. Very frustrating and disappointing.

When I checked in, the app said 32 minutes. When I refreshed, it said 63 minutes. So I decided to run an errand since I had time, and while stuck in traffic I get a "your on deck" text. I was able to get back to the store within 5 minutes, literally, and now it says I'm on deck with a 24 minute wait. This is absolutely ridiculous! Especially since its not the first time this has happened.

Buggy, not always intuitive, needs work. When clicking on location to show details about location, map zooms back out to show multiple locations grouped together. Why not stay zoomed in case location is not desirable to investigate other options? Also, after clicking on location (for full screen details), below operating hours, display stylists available. Else, you end up joining a wait-list and then leaving multiple times to find a stylist - especially if your favorite stylist is 'nomadic'.

The app no longer works. It use to be great, you could sign in and arrive right on time, now NO! Now when you get to the store, you aren't even on the line up. Stupid. Please fix. 8-13-25 still no joy. Went to the app. fount my favorite stylist checked in on app. said 45 minutes, drove out to store checked in at kiosk I got listed with 59min. So many people ahead of me. Been coming here for years never had problems until recently. I'll probably have to find something else now, hate the waiting.

l just tried this app again - everything went EXTREMELY WELL this time. My place in the queue on the in-store display was there, but dark. So I logged in on an in-store terminal and my entry immediately went bright. COOL! BTW... (to other customers) there is NO CAMERA on each customer getting their haircut and there is NO A.I. to detect how close they are to being done, so chill with the comments about inaccurate wait times. Just be happy that you got your place with your preferred person!

Love Sports Clips, but this app is terrible. 50% of the time the wait times to arrive are over 30 minutes off. When initially opening the app, half of the time I can't select any locations on the map, have to force close it and try again until it catches. When I get in to the store and sign in, suddenly my wait time updates to reality. Seriously, can't someone fix this?

Very poorly developed. Sports Clips relys on a lot on virtual checking in and virtual appointments but invests very little to make this app convenient and easy, or they sure aren't getting what they paid for. A lot of text that doesn't indicate that it's click-able for a function so you don't know how to proceed. Other times it's a guessing game. It asks if you want to leave but it doesn't specify if you're just backing up one page or logging out all together.

The app is simple and streamlines the process when timing lines up. The issue I have is the time frame it gives for check-in. If I check in on the app with no wait, it wants me to appear at the store right now, or I lose my spot in line. A more practical example of this: Today, I checked in online. There was a 9 min. wait. It took me ≈ 20 mins. to get there. I was kicked out of line and was placed behind people who checked in after me, but weren't even there, and I couldn't get my spot back.

If you take too long, for example making food in the oven. I can't just leave, and my appointment got shoved up nearly 30 mins. Then my appointment got canceled because I didn't make it in time. Even though I am driving when it tells me it's my turn. only to have another notification while driving saying the appointment has been canceled. no option to say, keep me in the line. nothing. that and the app keeps making me sign in and sign in and sign in. stupid.
