I prepaid to park in Boston. I read the directions four times and followed them correctly. I also made sure I was at the correct location. The barcode reader at the garage would not accept my prepaid code and kept telling me it was invalid. I had to take a ticket and pay the regular weekend rate on top of my payment through the app. Frustrating and no respect for my time.

beware. I had a great experience but things seem to be changing. I booked a spot in Manhattan. I arrived and the garage was full and would not honor the reservation. I was told to contact the app. I made a second reservation but directions took me to the first one and wasted time. I had to get to my appointment so found a garage. all total for 2 hours of parking cost $135 dollars!! I tried contacting spot hero - no response. so basically there's no guarantee that you get a parking spot.

Scam. I couldn't find the spot I reserved and they didn't refund me when I called. Circled the area for half an hour past the start time. I had to get to my convention in DC so had to park somewhere else. Ended up costing me 80 dollars total for all day parking, because I paid twice. They didn't refund me because I was still searching during the start time allotted. I would still appreciate a refund.

I reserved a parking spot in a garage near the venue. When we arrived, the traffic situation was so backed up police shut down the street on which the garage was located, so we were unable to reach our reserved spot through no fault of our own. We were also now running late to the event. Our only choice was to park in a garage we could reach. When I called SpotHero in the morning, emailed receipts, & they refused to compensate me for being unable to use my reservation. Terrible and unfair!

They're making it impossible to change my reservation time, which was extended as an error on their end. They won't help me via email. They keep telling me they'll extend my reservation when I said 3 times it needs to be decreased. I am unable to call them for live help as I have trouble hearing. Will never use this app again.

I had to pay for parking twice because the address didn't match the reservation, and the in app directions button brought me to a corner with 3 lots... so I didn't know which one to pick. I called support and waited 15 minutes for no answer... sent proof that I had to repay, along with photos and proof that there was no clarity on which of the 3 lots I had a reservation for, and they refused a refund. I would NEVER use this again if they sell you something that you can't actually use

I love this app. I can't tell you how many times it has not only saved me but delivered an excellent parking experience, both when I'm traveling to new places and when I'm in my home city. Easy to use, easy to pay, and excellent functionality. I can depend on it to let me know what the parameters are for each spot, and when possible, easily change or extend my reservation in the app.

Today I showed up for a reserved spot but the parking lot was full. Fair enough – I'm sure it happens – and I was able to cancel. I immediately pulled this app up and found another, this time for a lot that is entirely fenced shut. This time, the app would not let me cancel. I ended up parking on the street, far from my destination, while paying for a spot that doesn't exist. Two stars because it worked better the other time I used it.

Spot Hero sold me a reservation for a spot in a garage, and when I got there they told me Spot Hero reservations would not be accepted, and that they should have never sold the tickets in the first place. I ended up missing the sports game and company event we had scheduled, and had to call customer support to get a refund. This is after driving 1 hour each way to the stadium and back. No further compensation or solutions offered other than refund. I will never try using this service again.

I wish more cities used this service. I reserved parking several days in advance. I did have to adjust the arrival and leaving time the morning of my trip and was I was able to do that in seconds. I like the scan from my phone to get in and out. No paper ticket to lose. I also like that there is a navigation button right on your reservation. I could write a much longer review but truly the whole process was so easy and convenient.

This app is very highly rated, and it was recommended by a family member for parking in Chicago. We previously had an expensive parking experience in downtown Chicago (no app), and hoped to avoid that situation in future. With SpotHero, we were able to find a reasonable rate for all-day parking at a garage centrally located to the sights we planned to visit. It was a wonderful trip, the car was safe, and I felt we paid a reasonable rate for parking. It could be more clear where to scan the code.

Convenient BUT... Double-check the area you're traveling to before you book. I ended up with parking on a closed road because the app doesn't know about road closures. Customer service was helpful, but the experience was still pretty stressful. Some spots are also very difficult to navigate to. Check your directions to make sure the lot is open and easy to find.

The app can be annoyingly buggy at times (issues logging in properly namely). on the whole though, its really the best way to book parking anywhere. and its always cheaper than doing it in person at the lot/ garage. the app itself is straightforward, with an easy to navigate interface and works well with booking. also appreciate the instant navigation feature to your booked spot as well as the real time price comparisons when you are booking. the upfront fees are also nice prior to payment.

Have locations that you pay for on the app, but is not accepted when you arrive to location and there is no Spot available. example at public parking controlled by the municipality and you have to pay again using the terminal they have at the parking site that does not accept the prepaid application. Be aware when booking in locations showed in Portland Maine.

I love this app. One of the things I disliked about driving in the city is hunting for parking. Now I don't have to hunt and it allows me to choose whichever parameter is important. For example I can find the cheapest parking or I can find the closest parking. And since you pay for it through the app you don't have to deal with it when you park. One of the most useful apps I've ever found highly recommend!!

I used this app. I thought everything was good. I paid for parking through the app before the event, but when I went to leave the parking garage, I was charged again to leave. The app has a customer service line, but it wasn't obvious when sitting at a gate trying to scan QR code that doesn't work. Contacting someone afterwards is a joke, *crickets*

Total rip off does not work. I paid in advance for parking in Boston common. When attempting to enter the garage, the system would not accept the scan saying that I was not registered. I attempted several times to rescan, hit the call button and got no response, and with a line of cars behind me had to pay with a regular ticket. Contacted their customer support, and received nothing but questions about whether I did it right. One would think they would know it was never used and refund the money

👋🏽 everyone! I do not recall when I first used SpotHero, but glad that I do! I use this app FAITHFULLY when I need to travel to NYC, as well as other places, and need to park my car. I'm able to search parking garages, review and pre-pay for my parking. The need to search for parking the day of an event is a non-issue for me because I use SpotHero. My entire parking experience is better and safer because it's done in advance, with ease. Great app! Try it, if you haven't! Have a great day!

Entire lot was full after I'd paid in advance. There's no other parking so I didn't get to attend my event and had to drive back home. Now if I want a hope of getting a refund or credit, I have to call and beg someone. My day was stressful enough without having to talk to customer service! Add a "couldn't park" button in the app that does more than show us the customer service phone number; that's ridiculous.

I used this app on quite a few times and always found great deals that are much cheaper than the regular parking rates. Never had a problem using the parking pass at the garages. On a recent occasion I had a problem with the parking lot being closed on arrival. SpotHero support was very helpful. They refunded my purchase and credited me the difference for the higher rate that I paid at the airport.
